I've played a bunch of WH40K Darktide, which is fun but needs more content and some better systems implemented. The core gameplay itself is an absolute blast, or at least has been with the three classes I've tried (Psyker seems...more difficult). The vibe is good, the in-party banter is solid, I just wish there was more "there" there for the rest of the game. But the basic combat? Tons of fun. Just not something I expect to stick with as other games come out, unless they can offer me reasons to do otherwise. Fingers crossed they get some stuff together soon that fixes that.
I've also been playing and enjoying Gotham Knights. It looked kinda terrible, but once I accepted that it would NOT be an Arkham game (and it isn't), I took it on its own merits and have been enjoying it quite a bit. It runs pretty stably for me, and I've had only a handful of crashes which usually don't stop me from booting right back up pretty quickly. The combat itself is good, and kind of reminds me of the Spider-Man games, albeit perhaps a little less complex or maybe equally complex in a different way. The storyline is pretty good and has just gotten way more interesting. The collectibles are a mix of "Meh, whatever. Just gimme my XP boost," to actually adding real depth to the backstory of the game.
I got it on deep discount from, I think, CDKeys.com (which is legit -- I've used them for years). I think that's the way to go with this game, unless they release more DLC. I'm also really curious as to how a full 4-person team with mics enabled would actually play in the game. I've tried only a bare minimum of multiplayer, but it seems like you could actually play the entire game as a 4-some.

Hey does anyone here have any experience with building a retro gaming console with Raspberry Pi or Arduino? I have almost zero electronics experience as far as actually soldering everything, but these look pretty easy to put together. I've built PCs so I figure this is doable. I mainly want something to play NES and SEGA Genesis games since I gave both of those consoles away. So basically how hard are these to put together? I've seen a few guides and it looks fairly straightforward.

Has anyone played any of the Kingdom Hearts games?
I have loved them and played most all, thankfully with the HD remasters adding in the handheld ones.
I've been replaying part 3, because of the DLC that was actually released January of 2020 was on sale and I decided I might as well.
While it doesn't drastically add a whole lot, there is a trophy that does require you to replay the game. Basically a bunch of handicaps to make the game harder. I'm a wimp, so I played on easy mode, but even still, it was pretty hard. Its more meant for all the boss fights. If you have them all turned on, you get a certain amount of points per boss. To get the trophy, you need 365,000 points. The main game, with everything turned on for max points ends at 165,000. Then you have to continue on with the DLC. It ends with 14 super bosses. These guys are so incredible hard, the rank pretty high on a list of hardest bosses for games.
Each one gives you 25,000 points, if all turned on, but, one of the handicaps is that you cannot use cure magic in battle, another is can't use items in battle. Another, your HP slowly drains, you are always set to level 1, your defense is always 0. I had to turn off the items one so I could at least heal. It only lowered the points a little.
Thankfully, any armor or keyblades (weapon) you choose will make you stronger and the handicap does not effect that. You can also take the time, farm items and boost you strength, magic and defense.
I have spent the last week or more trying to max that stuff out....(and yesterday I found out I accidently loaded on older save, and then saved over the better file and lost around 15 hours of work....I was pretty mad at myself)
Spent all of yesterday redoing it all, and today I went in and attempted the really hard boss battles. Was NOT easy at all, but, after about 9 or 10 out of the 14, I was able to get the points just over the 365,000 and actually got the trophy.
Playstation give you a percent of anyone who has played the game and if they got it or not.
It has a 0.1 percent of people that have gotten that trophy....so yeah...I'm actually pretty shocked I was able to do it.
So then I was able to take all the handicaps totally off and finish the rest of the hardest battles in full power....and yikes, even still, they were quite the challenge. Most surprising of all, I was able to beat the hardest one that plenty of people say they cannot beat, and on my first attempt...now yeah, I was on easy mode.....but still, he was harder than any boss in the normal game on the hardest mode. Sorry for the long winded book here...I'm just still in shock I was able to actually do this. Now one last trophy that looks to be a fun easy mode one to get after you've done the hard stuff.....

Is this the one with Will Turner?
Part 2 had him in it. 3 has a Pirates of the Caribbean world with Jack Sparrow, and he looks pretty realistic.
Is 2 the one where Will is on the dutchman?
No. KH2 follows the first movie.
KH3 follows more the 3rd with Davy Jones.
There is a part where the dutchman comes up to surface right after will takes over. If you see it, let me know if it shows any slits in the bottom of his coat. Previous review showed they had it as one piece no flaps.
I'm way past that part in the game.

I got bored and started a new game of The Secret of Monkey Island SE because I haven't played it since my nephew was around 10yo (19 now). Anyway I don't know how the heck I played this when it came out (I was 12 in 1990) because I can't remember what to do most of the time and have to use a guide. I somehow beat this game as a kid without any internet.
