As I often say.... Where would MANY of us, & our collections, be without teecrooz.
Thanks guys!! It’s going to be a long journey, I’m so hope to complete it.
I was completely blown away by Scott’s work. I honestly didn’t know what to say
Still can’t believe Chris sold me this
Welcome to the club! You might be interested to know that even now we scribe in part numbers on all major components of the engines. Still very much set in our ways and some people definitely need more practice than others with the handwriting....
Yeah dude. Thats exactly what he did. And i fell for it.yeah the fact that the boosters lack the nikel plating inside seems like a big tell they would be replicas. That is crazy if the guy from spitfire sold them for real ones and for a hefty price I'm guessing...
coolhanluked - did you ever contact him and see if he had anything else to say after the things posted here?
Boost weld question for you guys
Is every boosted welded on the same fin? I have a romans replica, and next week I will be welding some door brackets for a barn I’m working on
Since I’ll have the welder setup, I want to see if I can tac weld alittle spot on my replica booster just for the heck of it
Just curious if all of them are in the same spot or if there is a certain fin to do it on
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
