Thanks Drac, I have unfortunately hit a major snag. We've had some problems at home with the house, nothing too serious, but enough that every spare moment has been spent fixing one thing after another!:cry

Needless to say, my shop is now in shambles, and I am forced to play the waiting game on getting back to full blown work in the basement. Life really has a way of sucking sometimes!!!!!

Hello all, well I am unbelivably happy to finally get a chance to work on the room again. Its a long, complicated, and totally uninteresting story as to why this project was put on such a long hold. Lets just say . . . NOT FUN!

So, now I am able to put in a few nights a week on the project.

Here are some real simple shots of some greebles i am putting together. Nothing major yet, but more is coming!

Looks good Fuzz! If I may ask,What method are you using to get the weathered edges on the panels? Also, what kind of paint are you using to simulate metal?

Thanks Eric. The weathering is an old fav, you spray the base color you want (in this case just silver spay paint Krylon is the maker) and then let it fully dry. Next I use rubber cement and dab it on the area I ultimately want to show through. Then spray on the final color. Once the final color is dry, you simply rub the areas where you laid down the rubber cement, and the under color shows through. Pretty sweet method, and easy. It looks really good if you do multiple colors.
