The Priests New Suit Project 11-5-14 New Pics @ End Of Post !

Here is an update on the guantlet. i got the top out of the mold and after some trimming it fits like a glove. Looks like i measured rightafter all. I am going to extent the original bottom piece so it matches up nice and clean to the top so that will be the next step that will be pretty fast to make.the clocks ticking and i am still trying to load a video of the sounds It's coming soon.

Hey Dude you're suppose to let me know when you post things. Looks great. I would think twice about extending the forearm piece. If it gets to long you may not be able to bend you arm with out it binding on the inside of your elbow. I would consider modifying the back of the top piece. Maybe angle it down or somethiong. Just a thought.

Ok so i actually had some free time and i got this sculpted it is for the bottom of the blade guantlet. It looked a little wierd being stubby so i extended it and it should flow a little better on my arm.  And i finished painting the backpack. here is what i came up with. Basically i added some rust colors to it and sprayed some transparent black on it and shot it with some matte clear . and it came out pretty good . let me know what you think ! good or bad or questions

That sound and light setup you've done is brilliant - love the opening backpack to get at everything.

The paintwork really brings the details out, looking forward to more updates.

Thanks JEFF. and troggs the lights and sound are not that hard to set up it was everything else to make it work was the bitch !!!
It has been a long process but i did a photo shoot with the backpack and some other new parts and it worked flawlessly i can't wait until our upcoming CON.

MORE UPDATES for the suit .
I got my bottom piece mold set up and ready and casted the first piece. for the sylicone i used rebound 40 from smooth on. i like the way it sets up.
Anyways , I got it out and after some serious sanding i was able to get a pretty ggod line up on the top to the bottom. here it is.now i did make the mother mold out of fiberglass but that was because i am out of ultra cal right now and i did not want to wait or i would have made it that way.
Once that is done i will put the blade set up on that piece and start painting it. I have already seen that i am gonna have to change the hinges on the guantlet , but that's ok i will work even better when i do it . Now on to the next pain in my ass project !

OK OK .. Sorry about no posts for a bit . work has kept me super busy. but here is an update on the project i sculpted a P1 bio to fit this mask exact. I have about 10 hours on it. it is not finished but i would like some comments. this mask i am going to use in contests. It seems judges would rather see accurate costumes rather than customs.

It was at the end of the day and we were totally wiped out but managed to slay this Alien !!
I have other videos of that weekend on my youtube channel

Very cool.  I'm assuming shortly after this you took the xenos head as a trophy?  If not, for shaaaame.  In all seriousness you guys look the part.  Really dig all the blinkies going and the pred movements you slipped in there.

Hey dude, nice video. I hate to complain but you could post some pics of the finished suit. The feet look great by the way. Ok the whole suit looks great.

Well here is some more pics of the bio. I haven't had much time on it but i think it is getting close to be ready to cast . Now the reason i made this was that i wanted it to fit the mask exact . I have bought others before and the quality was great they just don't fit and they are hard to see out of. So i am forcede to make my own version let me know what you guys think !
I am not sure if i want to leave it fairly smooth or put some hammered metal on it . any ideas?

Hey Tony I gotta hand it to ya this is a very nice sculpt. Like I always say the symmetry is the hardest part. This looks spot on symmetrical.
