The Priests New Suit Project 11-5-14 New Pics @ End Of Post !

Ok I have finally got around to putting these up. Here are the steps i took to get this backpack done i deceided to put dual speakers in it so i cut the holes and used a set of 4 ohm 30 watt mini speakers so it will be loud as hell .But keep in mind i also will have to have an amp to push the sound. Also known as a canakit .  installed them and mounted the hinge for the medicomp pack and did some sanding and  painting to see what it looked like . Right now all i have is the dry brushing on  it  Here it is with the body suit on . I think it looks pretty good i plan on getting the gun sculpted and mounted this week end and maybe start painting on the torso
Comments are always welcome.
I will toss more photos up Monday. i already have alot more done to the suit so i will post them too.
If anybody has any questions just let me know i will try to answer them . ENJOY THE PICS EVERYONE !

ok now that i have most of the back pack done i am on to the cannon and getting started painting the torso here is a few pics of what i have been up to. getting on the molding process . this is my take of my personal gun system it will be complet with flash and sound that will come later. Here it is painted up but , it needs to be aged but good enough for a pic. Noe on to the sholder armor i sculpted this piece using a bit of narin styling. I hope all you like it .
And over the weekend i had time to start on the torso . I am going with a P1 suit and color scheme but i just had to mix it up a little . i didn't want to make another p1 exact style . i used the reference off of USURPERS silicone pics i hope you don't mind me sneaking a bit off you. but any ways here is the process for anyone who wants to read it.
Oh and here is some pics i found where i had the backpack on the manniquin . let me know what you guys think

Dude you are a maniac. I can't believe all the stuff you have done. I am really liking the cannon. I see you are getting used to the airbrush. I am taking a break from spraying the layers of PVA by the way.

Hands a little sore are they ?
Well it's awesome to see i have bitched enough to get you going on the legs . and yes i am getting the hang of it. I tried the rubber cement and naptha and acrilic but all i made was a hot mess so i had to go the old traditional way i have been doing it . i know i just need to get the right mixture but i didn't want to practice trial and error on such a big piece. And i am already working on the new countdown arm piece and custom Bio helmet  HeHeHe.

Dude you should have called, you have to use oil based paint with rubber cement or guess what. you get a hot mess.

or dont over complicate it and use acrylic inks, with pros aide as your base layer.

suits coming together tho.. fair play

ThePriest ,

I just now saw your suit build thread, absolutely awesome! Many many thanks for all the pics and build details!

Hunter's coming together quite nicely :D

dude tony this is bad ass hopefully we are getting all of our stuff here at home situated i havent been able to build anything really so hopefully i can finally get down to your place kick ass stuff dude

Well i finally had time to post what i have been up to and here it is . This is a copy of Topnot"s
motorized blades. His pics were very helpful.
The platform is from a piece i got the net ,And it worked pretty well. i welded the harnes that everything is attached to and welded that to a roller bearing arm that you can buy at any harware store . Then cut out the brackets from a 20 mil metal that you can also get at your local harware store . I then ordered a 83 RPM right angle moter from www.superdroidrobots.com for 47.50 it will run off of 9 volt batteries but we went a little different and are using 12 volt batteries . they are super small and push a little more power. Now the blades werer cut out of Pexi Glass . and that job sucked ALOT !!!! but after i cleaned them up they looked great. I am alot farther than this but i wanted to show you what i have taken pics of before i forgot all of this. Now while i waited for the pieces i had to order got here i molded the gauntlet cover and started making new leg armor for the New suit. I am going to use the 6 inch lifted feet i previously made as a guide . Over the holiday i will mold and cast these parts so hopefully after the holiday i should have some killer pics of the project . so let me know what you guys think .

Keep in mind the sculpts are not totally finished but they are getting close . I also have to thank jeff for helping me build this killer blade set up. I would never have attempted it without his help. Now enough kissing your ass Jeff lets see some more stuff !!! LOL

Tony, I can't believe you actually posted some pictures. Damn that is a great design. Haha. Very nice work as usual dude. So you have been doing something.,
I also can't believe how fast you get things done. Keep it up brother.

Yes i actually did !!!! I am vey proud of myself LOL
OK here is even more updated pics
Now here is what i am doing the leg armor will be in 3 pieces i plan on casting all this this weekend. the front will have a velcro strap that i will also use to hold the back pieces in place . Hopefully this makes sense . Now this is more of the gauntlet i am assembling it and working some bugs out of it but so far it works pretty good . I noticed the motor needs to be a little faster but i can either change the motor or get a sprocket . anyway here is the pics

Hey Tony, nice work dude. Molding is so much FUN! Not. About the gear motor, if you have the 12V/1:27/220rpm thats as fast as they have. You can increase
the volts to speed it up. The batteries need to be in series (neg to pos, neg to pos) to increase the volts. It will speed it up. Don't worry about burning up that motor I have 4- 9 volts in series on the spear. That is 36 volts. Because it is such a short run time it does fine. Keep those updates coming. Sorry I was so slow posting. I was mulching leaves. Did I mention it was 77 degrees today. It was 77 degrees today.

77 DEGREES !!  it's 17 ****** degrees here !!  I guess this is all my payback for running my mouth this summer . And thanks for the heads up on the motor.I got the 83 rpm one but i think i will try linking the batteries and maybe a bigger sprocket on the motor and see if that speeds it up . Or just order a 220 rpm and go back down on the gear.  I have several Cons coming up  and i want to really knock the crowds socks off. The 12 volt battery idea was a failure . It will not push that motor . It is really designed for remote controls and stuff like that .  Well it's getting ready start sleeting and then snowing here ! hell does freeze over ya know !  But there is a saying here " if you don't like the weather just wait it will change"

man this is awesome great job tony i havent been able to really work on anything i have a break from work but the kids are off also so nothing will proble get done lol i cant wait to see this

Ok here is what i got done over the holiday, i was able to cast the leg armor in 3 pieces in fiberglass. it came out pretty good for it being so cold . I had to crank the heat up in my garage. and it was still pretty cold but i suffered through it.
Now on to the dreaded trimming and trying to line the damn things up again. My idea is to use the velcro that will strap the front on and i can use it around to the back to just velcro the back pieces on . I will throw some ties on mostly for looks .
And My beautiful wife bought me a new airbrush . bouble action SWEET !!!!
