Ah Christmas was good to you. The pieces all look great. I'm a little concerned about the armor piece on the front of you shin down at the bottom where your ankle has to bend. you might have to cut that off a reattach it with a leather strap or something so it can bend there. Just a thought.

I was just looking at that. I am sure it will have to be cut. I should have a test fit soon to figure it all out. Next up the legs ! Time to go buy some duct tape !

Ok Jeff,  you were right i did cut the bottom off of the armor. So this is what it did, The part i cut off i casted in latex and seamed it up to the top part and just bolted it together. Now when i walk the latex just bends no problem and it looks very natural.
Now on to the next headache was to connect the pieces from the front to the back i just took a piece of leather and bolted one side together and them for the other side i used velcro so it looked seamless to the outside of the leg. That part took way more work to make them match up because they were slightly warped when i casted them . Not my fault it was gravity ! if i had to do it all over again i would have done the back pieces in latex and avoided all the ******** . 
Now during this nightmare i had a buddy wire up the lights and sound for the backpack and timer guantlet this is how the chip is mounted in the backpack ...Looking good so far. We are using a simple rubber hose to run from the backpack to the guantlet to hide the wires and yes we color coded everything for easy fixes if it ever is needed .more pics of the wiring soon as it's almost done . and Now on to the Legs .... Thank god for  Alpha tech plowing the way to greatness on that . He is a huge inspiration and yes i too want to see his suit completed and GOD willing i will be there when he unveils it . No pressure Jeff !!! LOL

Holy Crap 2 days in a row i posted pics Is that a new record for me ? Anyway here is some pics of the lights in the guantlet they run off a 9 volt and it is all self contained now the buttons for the sound will run out the back of the guantlet and through a thin rubber hose and into the bacpack and here it is. Ok the video wont load so i will try something else but now you can see the lights they are running off a 3-5 second relay that runs on random. The red LEDS will have a cover on them with gliphs so you can see the symbol when it lights up.
Well looks like i hade time to slip in one pic of the backpack and all it's parts. what you have there is the soundboard a amp for the twin speakers and another board for the lights that run in the shell of the backpack and into the cannon ... Any questions ?

What the! You are becoming a posting maniac. I don't know what all I'm looking at but it looks cool. A couple of shots with the back pack from further back showing it opened and closed would be cool. That is if you could muster the energy.

Here is and update, on the electronics and a few pics of the mask and neck guard on how it is gonna look after i get done with it . And yes my minions are hard at work . Like crazy little Elfs !!
The bottom pic is the velcro strap i put on to make sure the armor stays in the spot i want and so the rest is not so stressed.
right now we are wiring 2 lights to the cannon to give it some action . and moving a few of them around so they can be seen better.
We also put 2 of the red lights in the inside of the backpack and it gives the look that something hot is going on. I will try to upload a video of it in action.

Just a quick update i installed a spring underneath the backpack to keep it closed so it wont bounce around when i am wearing it. Sime but effective.

Glad you like the pics jeff. I promise to post videos of the lights in action. And the kc con is on march 14-16 . There is a llarge number of star trek cast coming including wllliam shatner. If anyone is into the trek stuff.

I finally got around to finishing the working blades , and now that they are done i was able to finish the top of the cover for them . this is it. I made it to where i can get to the batteries without ever opening to cover or messing with anything else on the blades. it is still rough but you get the idea. MORE to come. throw up some comments people .

Hey Dude this look good but it also looks like it is starting to get pretty high off your arm.  I went through that with my last one. Low profile is good. Ok enough of that, the deisign looks great. I hate to complain but it sir ewould be nice to see a video of the action. Come on man!

I thought we were supposed to go big or go home !! Na it's really not that big here are some pics of it in silicone and a AVP guantlet next to it to show i have kept it low profile . After looking at the pics i put up it does look lIke it would be pretty tall. But it will only be about 3 1/2 tall so we are good here .
And i am still working on posting a video of all the lights and sounds working.
but not to worry it's coming if my buddy will ever help me load them !!

OK here is my attempt at posting a video of the guantlet lights working and the lights on the backpack.
We made a light on the exhaust venting system so it looks like it is always running something .
I don't know what to call it but it is pretty ****** cool lookin.

Damn, I've been missing out on this.  That's quite a bit of progress for such a short time and great work to boot.  Gauntlet lights are looking good too.  Look forward to more.
