The Most Accurate 11th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver???

Most of the background detail is cgi including the previous (younger) Doctors , so all the props you see are cgi except for the one's being held during. Any action shots

Thought i;d post here rather than make a new thread.

I've been completely re-building my TWC 11th sonic. I'll soon be getting to wrapping the handle with leather and was wondering whether anyone else had attempted this and if they had any advice.

It seems like a simple enough job but it's surprisingly tricky to do it right.

And the CO sonic made an appearance today. :p

Wonder whether the laser and pen are the CO versions as well.

Oh, undoubtedly. Do you really believe the BBC would risk dropping thousand dollar props, when C.O has ones that could be mistaken for the real thing?
Also you can tell the laser is the toy by the copper hexagon thing and ring have the same sizing as the toy, not the prop. The hexagon shougl be wider and the ring thinner.

No, they aren't. They're the cheap toy versions held on strings and composited into shots. Far, far cheaper than having someone build, texture, light and animate CGI versions for so little screen time.

There is this genious called Kursosawa that can take the Wand Company sonic and the CO toy and mod the Wand Company's version to flick open with the sounds from the toy.
