The Mandalorian (TV series)

Well i finally watched season 2. I liked it. A bunch of my work was highlighted. It was cool to see how they shot it. One of the sets i put a lot of work into was the bridge of the imperial star cruiser. It looks really good.

Boba fett tho.... alive? Takes over jabas palace? I'm curious to see where this goes. I guess we will find out in the book of fett.

All in all i think the show is pretty darn good. When fetts done they will finish season 3. So im guessing they tie into eachother. Unfortunately i didn't get to be on season 3. I did a couple features instead. But i am starting obi wan next week. So here we go. On to the next one.
Soooo... You just come here to brag that you're ACTUALLY living the dream?

Just kidding, man. Absolutely incredible work!

Thanks. It is one of my proudest builds to date.
I don't blame you. I was already thrilled to see something from the animated come into the real with the Gozanti earlier in the season, getting an Arquitens was a treat I never expected would happen, and then to discover it looked as good as it did because it was a physical set gave me so many feels on so many levels at once I almost cried. Nostalgia, appreciation, smugness, lust, awe... That there is a piece of Star Wars history you have crafted. I have no problem thinking of it in the same mental breath as the Falcon, the Blockade Runner, the disgustingly superdetailed Super Star Destroyer command deck, the delightfully fiddly Nebulon-B... You guys knocked that one out of the park.

The poor Gozanti, everyone forgets (including me) that it was first seen in TPM.

Thank you! It was the first set i was put on for the show. I was so excited i got to build it but it was also the first time in my career that i wasn't sure if i had the skill to build like that. It was so detailed and massive. 64' x 64' x 16'. It had to break up into 8 sections to get it in and out of the volume. It was such an awesome experience.

I also built the interior of the gozanti. It was my personal baby. I got that set because of my work on the star cruiser. The tricks i pulled off on the gozanti were crazy and it made me a way better carpenter.
