Update, the hands are absolutely a match, but the minute hand does not fit. I was thinking about Frankensteining it to the current watch hand so it would function. But here's the link if you want to try. Like I said, they'll need a repaint to match.

I’m curious. If you were very careful, almost like a jeweler careful, would you be able to resize the connecting ring for the right size for the minute hand? A little bit of sawing, then slight bending to get it the right size?

When I build watches, setting the minute hand is the longest and most frustrating thing for me. But those are all on automatics, I'm not sure how a quartz movement can be modded.

I bought four sets for a run for some friends, I'll have time Monday to tool around with it. If successful, I'll order more. ClockWorkProps your print definition is so clear, what did you print on?

Tried Frankensteining them to the existing Weekender hands, not enough clearance to pass over each other (should've known). Not sure where to go from here. I was really hoping for a functioning version.

I think we need to get one of these, measure the timex’s current hands sizes, then source the replacements:

Ended up grabbing a Shinola Runwell 41mm which has the same case type (Though has a blue face), and the Seiko is my go to workhorse that would get the wrist treatment IRL:View attachment 1678944

I got one SKX007 myself, apparently the NATO strap is quite cheap, gotta get me one of those!

On the matter of watches, I found that Morris Aviator T1 (left one) is a very good match as well
I will probably get a Hamilton Khaki Field however, it's very similar to (the right one), it's very similar to the timex expedition.

I'm going to see what dyes I can work with, and experiment. Sucks that after each dying session, it's going to look super dark at first because it's wet, and you wont know what you get til it's dry lol.

I just ordered an L and XL from River Island.
Have you guys gotten any dye instructions yet?

This is where I'm at (forgive the pixels) Besides the color difference, I'm doubting myself. The hour hand looks to be too short, the Lum groove looks too long on the minute hand. Subdial hand obviously isn't big enough, second hand is ok. Of course camera proportions come into play.

Just got my Dark Wash 505's from a friend who kindly sent them to me from the US, and with that I sort of collected all the items I was going for. I will probably add the boots in the long run though, because they do look really nice and my current pair of aging hiking boots need a replacement.

Seeing the jeans in person, I wonder if they're any different from the "Sunset Down" variant that Levi's sells in Europe or if it's just a name change. They are lighter than they seem in the pic and feel real close to that true color photograph Pedro Pascal posted on Instagram where he's standing with Bella Ramsey.

The jacket is obviously the best piece out of all. You know you've purchased something worth the money you spent the minute you hold it in your hands. It's a beautiful design and feels like it'd withstand a nuclear blast. I bet the more you use it, the better it'll look. And it goes particularly well over the Fjallraven shirt.

As for the River Island shirt, not much to add other than it'd need to be dyed to match the show look. It's super comfortable and looks fine to me other than the darkened areas over the pockets. Like I've said before I'm not looking to cosplay, so I'm not gonna age these things or modify the Fjallraven shirt, however I do like the color of the River Island shirt in the show better than the retail original, so if anyone figures out the best way to go about customizing that one I'd be interested to hear.

Nah, that's the Timex TW2R88800. The Seiko is a Prospex "Turtle" SRP779 with modified bezel and insert - Similar size to the SKX007 but has the wider case. I will say though that the Shinola has been on my wrist since I got it, such a nice watch.

Man, I feel you. You are so close. I can imagine the frustration. I'm surprised AT doesn't just let us know where he got the hands.... ugh. I'll keep looking. I feel like, if we were able to sharpen the show image, isolate the shape of the hands, then do an image search, that might work, but there's no detail in the dial face because of the black. You were so close too.

Don't suppose anyone knows the exact gauge sizes for the hands on the Timex Weekend 40 mm?

I wonder.... What if AT used a completely different movement for the watch, and put that in the Weekender, so his gauge sizes for the hands are different then what is stock to the Weekender? Thoughts?
