So...I don't know if we'll get to see much of it, but...I feel like one prop we are at a loss for is Ellie's journal.
I don't think we will see every page in it's entirety.

Got some references (before I can 4K stuff).
Ellie’s boots are Roots TUFF boots (looks to be an older version though - one that has brown leather but a fully black sole).

I have video of her jacket. But I need to take screenshots from it (unless someone has a 4K rip of episode 3).

Jameel Ur let’s collab and get a prototype going!

I'm going to start stitching together drawings that will make up the design and seams, and source the right fabrics (or pretty close matches), and then we can get em sent to you.

Hey, I'm on board.
 
Alright, the more I look at it, it looks like these are the actual boots, but the bottom sole might be the wrong color of rubber. They look like they're black fully, not brown. Near the front, there is no brass hardware in reference photos, just like this one from the site. The older versions have more pronounced bottom sole ridges, and it looks more like the one they currently offer. Alot for $250+ though.

I just used the Internet Archive, and looked at Root's' catalog from July 2024 > it's still the same model.
November 2023 > same model
May 2023 > Same model

Here's the cool thing though. This model seems like it's been out for a few years, AND, it goes on sale every couple of months for almost $60 off.
 
Btw, this would be helpful, but one of the breakdown artists let me in on a little bit of her process:
Breaking down items in the sun would be a lengthy process for sure! It varies a bit piece by piece, but generally a lot of washing to fade, soften and wrinkle the seams, then maybe a slight dye job to shift the colour into a more worn kind of patina, along with some sanding and painting. Acrylic paints, Golden, Kroma, Angelus mostly. Then some good old fashioned steaming to work in some wrinkles

Now, part of me is trying to get as much clothing items that are on screen as possible to add to my daughter's time capsule. But.... Is it really worth getting this blue shirt that she wears under the hoodie from the show? It's literally worn ONCE lol

Honestly I don’t think so, I would try to work on finding/ making etc the main stuff we see
 
I did find Ellie's undershirt for her Seattle outfit, but it's pretty non existent. She's wearing a mens v-neck - notice in most shots, it doesn't dip low to account for women's chest - it might also be the fitted v-neck they provide, but that's not in stock either.

They got a video on Reddit of her tattoo being applied with a temp sticker, but there's a good shot of the whole sticker, and then the exact placement on Bella's arm, so if anyone wanted to replicate!!

Boots came in. I used ChatGPT to predict my daughter’s shoe size by the time she’s 14 and into adulthood, and this was the best estimation. Even factored in break in and socks. Gonna use it to help me store these for the next 13 years:

Great show, two of the best video games ever made. I'm an Xbox guy but I own a playstaion just for the last of us 1&2 and Days Gone. I wouldn't say the game play is anything special, but both have riveting story's that keep you playing so you can find out what happens next. Days Gone would make a good TV series as well.
