Here is my first attempt at painting.
Painted usin duplicolor metal cast anodized paints. No primer. I did three layers of paint, wet sanded afterward for an even look, washed it down with soap and water, then clear coated with krylon clear protectant.
Originally I used rustoleum enamel gloss and it was a nightmare. It came out looking dusty whenever there wasn't a wet layer on top. I wet sanded with 1500, did a quick wipe with acetone, wet sanded again, nearly down to the paint, washed again, dried, and then used the krylon clear. This is what came out. Even layers on krylon is important so It doesn't clump or goop. If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them, especially for the best method for an even gloss. I went heavy one layer closer than recommended but kept the can moving at all times.
