The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Im trying to help some nords free a buddy of them from a group of nazi elves in a fort. There got to be dozens of them... I summon daedras and everything, but the nords just keep getting killed off by the elves.

I got to level 60 on Smithing before I ran out of gold. I tried to sell a few dragon bones to the general merchant in Whiterun but he ran out of gold. So I'm off into the world of Skyrim again just looking around, enjoying it.

Just wait a while and he gets more money.

This game is proof that humans can time travel. It's Monday and I'm not sure how I got here from Friday morning.

I love this game. The graphics, the immersion, the freedom, all of it. My character is sort of a battlemage. My primary weapons are fire and electricity spells though I'm carrying an enchanted elven sword of soul stealing and an elven sword of fire as back ups.

So far my highlights have been

1) Killed a Giant at level 14 with a lot of kiting around terrain and the Sparks spell. It was chasing my horse around when I came out of a dungeon so I had to engage it to save my faithful steed.

2) I was ambushed by a tough ice breathing Blood Dragon coming out of a building. It literally landed right in front of me. It blasted me, I ran for cover, and then it proceeded to lay waste to the town and killed off a bunch of NPCs that were trying to repel it. I managed to kill it, barely, though my faithful horse jumped in to help. It was an awesome and fun fight.

3) I'm leading the Companions now. I really enjoyed that storyline.

4) I have become kill on sight to the Thalmor. I'm not sure how that is going to play out over the long term. At the least I will have a lot of elven equipment at my disposal.

I have so many quests left to do there is no end in sight. I love the freedom to just ride around and explore the world.

The only thing that would make this a better game for me is if Firesprite and I could play in the same gameworld and group up if we wanted to.

I was fighting a frost dragon and figured I'd use a little 5x5 shack nearby for cover when it breathed. Bad idea. After I went inside the dragon landed right outside the door, stuck its head in and chewed me to bits. In any other video game that would have worked, its like the AI changed its behavior once it had seen what I was trying

A dragon attacked a small village I was in yesterday, and afterwards some of the people I just talked to before the attack was lying there dead. One was a mother and I found her unawaring daughter in her house. It made me feel a little sad.

All the villagers run to the dragon and looked and talked. Nicely scripted.

Yeah, I had a dragon land on top of a house today in the middle of a small town. Pretty amazing what the AI's capable of.

I'm currently in Morthal before going to Ulfstad to retrieve the horn for the Companions storyline. So, I'm running around town talking to people, checking things out... and HOLY CRAP, THERE'S A DRAGON!

So I go running out to kill it (this is the first time I was actually excited to see one rather than terrified and looking around wildly) and it's acting really weird. Something clearly has its attention more than me so I'm able to take it down to 1/4 health before it actually starts attacking me.

I killed it and absorbed the soul and just as I'm starting to feel really pleased with myself... I figured out what it was attacking. All I have to say is INVISIBLE VAMPIRES?! REALLY!?!

I haven't figured out how to kill her yet. :lol

Find a chokepoint and fling fireballs indiscriminately with a flame atronach and... flame runes.

Burn all the things!!

You might need the shout that makes living beings glow red.

I also had a dragon land on a house in a village. Luckily I killed it before it got the villagers, but now there's a huge dragon skeleton in the street that they all have to push past.

I'll agree that the AI scripting is good, just listening in on NPC's conversations is interesting. One kid saw me cast a healing spell and was all "Hey are you a wizard? Can you turn me invisible?" Then I overheard him telling someone about a prank he'd played on someone's cow!

Don't want to hijack your thread, but a couple of guys sent me PMs asking about these.

Do I need to be making molds?

I think I killed four dragons already, that helmet looks amazing and the game is amazing, the world is just so huge
