Has anybody checked out the Calvin Klein Timothy suede shoes as an alternative? I could pick up some suede from michael's or online and add the designs to the back/side. Here's a link for a picture of them.

What size are you and do you have a Blazer yet? I have one if you'd like to see. It's more blue than grey. To me the blazer looks blue and not grey. That's just my opinion based on all the photos I have seen.

Those actually look pretty nice. I found a pair at a church run thrift store that look NEARLY identical. Since I'm a perfectionist...I'll probably throw them out sooner or later. Good find!

I went for a blueish-gray I got from Goodwill. I altered the collar a lot and sewed in the blood orange lining. I actually really like the baron boutique blazer...a bit pricey though!

I picked these up today. Was thinking I may get some vinyl and add the extra pieces to the sides/back. What do you guys think, overall?

modified the shoes. not 100%, but I'm happy for my "to wear" shoes. Not done weathering them yet.

Thanks guys! Browsed over the tutorial, but I didn't use it. Just took some brown vinyl and cut it to the shape I need it and used cuticle scissors for the holes. Shoes were from Kohl's, croft and barrow brand or something like that.

Looks close. I had a pair I picked up at Macy's a few years ago and they worked well for me. Good detective work on the find. Still need to get MY Tabio's when I get the chance. Been wearing my cheapies from HT with other clothes. Alot of the style he wears is already in my wardrobe.

Matt, I have a new sense of respect for you Bro. Painting these braces is a major nerve shredder. I dropped my brush on the braces just after I'd loaded it :eek lucky enough it landed right in the middle of a diamond.

I think I'll quit while I'm ahead and just do the areas that will show.
