The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

Thanks. Wish I had a close up that scar on the Causey sculpt. Basically I'm just trying to get a really good look at that one scar (i have tons of the other one) in clear detail without the makeup, just to see the form and shape. When I watch the movie, to my eyes, it seems to change from time to time (the length,size) but I could be totally wrong and just thrown off by the paint. Thanks again
 
So while scrounging for buttons in home ec, I tried to find ones that matched in size and in color and resemblance to the picture I had, and I think I found a good match to them.
What do you guys think?

The picture quality isn't that good because it was taken with my camera phone.

I still have the ones you sent me sometime last year, they're in my room.
I'm glad I found those in class, the buttons I had originally seemed too large, and they weren't the same style, they just happened to be green.
 
Ok so the make up that John Caglione Jr. Confirmed was..

* Black Aqua color
* Red Maybelline (anyone have a preferred shade?)
* Mehron tooth color

And the white is what I don't completely remember. FX skin illustrator?
Oh and the green hair makeup they don't make any more.

We should put all the confirmed info together on the first post.
 
The white was telesis skin illustrator. Teeth was nicotine tooth stain by mehron. Hair was jeans green by alfaparf (no longer being made). And to style his hair was redken disrupt. The lip color was never confirmed.
 
It was a maybelline brand color though, and out of production. Nearest color on the market today by the same brand is Royal Red. :)
 
i dont know if this thread is dead or not but i figured what the heck.
heres my joker costume for the 2008 comic-con, i decided to leave off the scars cause this was before i discovered that hard collegian glue stuff

i have no idea who took this i just found it online, but they did a great job, its one of my favorite pictures of me as Joker

Edit: its funny cause i killed a switch blade comb and put in a strip of plastic for my knife
i was the only Joker with an automatic knife in the whole con
 
I'm getting ready to purchase a pair of Indy's Joker shoes. I'm still debating which material to go for. At the moment I'm leaning toward the brown oilskin.

I have a pair of Nubuck walking boots at home, one day I did some decorating and managed to get paint slashes over them. Anyway I scrubbed 'em with a brillo type scrubbing pad to get the paint off and it left the nubuck in a distressed condition quite similar to the distressing on the Joker shoes.

I know most people have gone for the grey suade ones and then distressed them. But I don't know, I think I see more brown in the movie ones.
What do the rest of you think? I value your opinions.
