So while I'm waiting for more clay and the book I think The eyeballs on my sculpt are a tad to big so I think I'll re do them a little smaller.
I'm going for Jens master Ursu,but I guess as long as it comes out looking like any mystic I'll be happy.

I know we have briefly touched on it but are you going to do both resin and silicone? Maybe how the Mangalore is going to be done. I may ask you to make a lite cast from this or something to mount and make a costume for next year so I might bug you for hands too

They are a great design, froud came up with some great stuff, love the swirling wrinkles on the mystics.

Assuming the interest is there if I mold them I would most likely do a resin version and a silicone version,latex would make it look more authentic but it would eventually rot out.

I'm only just using silicone myself but if you made it opaque it would look the same as foam latex, they didn't have the most detailed paintjob in the world, the final look was mostly in the sculpt itself i think

Ill be making these because its something I want to do.Its easy to recast something that someone else made I want to do it for the challenge and for fun.
I dont care if people want to cash in on their screen used stuff I say go for it but its not real cool imo to do it in someone else's thread.
If you dont like what Im doing dont comment, if you want to pimp your own crap fine do it but start your own interest thread.
I personally dont care if I sell any of these It wasnt my intent when I decided to do it.

Anyway back to the topic.I did make new eyes,slightly smaller than the ones I had in there and it made a big difference an I def. think it's and improvement.Ill post up some pics in a bit.

Well if I make a silicone mold assuming I mold it we could pull different mediums like a fiber glass one to use as under skull etc. So yeah that would be sweet to try that down the road.
A cable controlled animatronic puppet would be wicked
