Man, that movie creeped me out when I was little... still does! Forced myself to watch the full trailer and I bet I have nightmares for a month!
I hope that those of you that liked the original enjoy the new series. I on the other hand will be watching kitten videos for the next several days! Trying to imagine them not being eaten by the Skeksis of course.

They just released a new trailer. Holy crap! After a lackluster third season of Stranger Things and GLOW this feels like a breath of fresh air! I am pumped for this one! Even if the story is very simple, the visuals alone just look incredible!
My wife and I started GLOW season 3, not even knowing the new season had been released, no press or ads for it, and we only got 3 episodes in before turning it off. We'll finish it eventually but it is really bad so far. Did the same writers work s3 of Stanger Things too? Smh.
But THIS. This new Dark Crystal series looks so good! There are shots in the new trailer that I literally have no idea how they filmed. Also as an 80s baby and an electronic music fan, I'm just dying over the resurgence of Tangerine Dream inspired soundtracks and scores.

That's depressing about GLOW. I hope you're wrong about that. I haven't started season 3 yet, but I found seasons 1 and 2 to be a lot better than I expected them to be.
My wife and I loved the first two seasons of GLOW. We will get back to season 3 and hopefully like Stranger Things it will get better as the season progresses. We haven't written it off after getting attached to the characters the way we did the last two seasons, so hopefully it's just a slow start.

Absolutely cannot wait for this! Expectations are high because the one little greenscreen shot they showed was only for background replacement. Plus, my favorite moment from these two vids.... "we're so old that WE don't remember how WE did it." WE! That's how you do a prequel.

If you watched the trailer you'd seen a lot practical shots done with puppets. There's obviously going to be some puppeteer removal, comps, and some shots that just can't be done practically or all on set but it looks like most of it will be done practically and on set though.
The program is now available for viewing on Netflix...
