I was annoyed by a few things — it particularly distracts me when I want to see a child character die because they’re doing so many plot-convenient stupid things, as if screenwriters don’t know how children think — but for the most part I thought it hit it out of the ballpark. Can’t wait for the continuation. I thought Parker Posey hit Dr. Smith right on the nose: same manic behavior, far more motivation and reasoning.
