My analogy to Joseph Goebbels propaganda was infinitely far less about “DiSnEy are NaZiS” than it was about the inevitable ‘Making of Book of Boba Fett’ undoubtedly being a psychologically manipulative piece of media that attempts to present everything as good, happy, magical and perfect while in reality it is anything but

This wasn't perfect, few things are, but this won't require any psychological manipulation as it was fairly decent.
Not as good as the Mandalorian, but certainly better than most Star Wars films.

So they showed the Darksaber lying on the street and Din scrambling away from it after Grugu pulled the knee bolt out of the droid, then they never showed him picking it back up. I'm not even sure we see it on his belt later.

I still think my issue isn't so much their design inspiration or being preexisting in the SW universe so much as they are just fundamentally the wrong assault tool for that type of environment on visuals/mechanics alone... The only reason they don't sink into the sand and topple over with their immense implied weight and those goofy pointy attack feet was because the Director wanted it. Its not good

People give the AT-AT and AT-ST's crap for their slow moving designs, but if you actually look around at the environments that they are used in, they're seemingly very practical in their actual capabilities of tackling varying terrain types on the fly, be it snow, sand, forest, mountains, hills and valleys etc (because they're largely designed off land megafauna body mechanics), while this design would need to walk on a firm or semi-firm surface to not sink in and get stuck.. I mean its literally trying to stab things with its feet in scenes even...

I think in the streets of Mos Espa, it wouldn't have much of problem. Now out in the open desert, that would be a different story.

Also seriously **** the design of the Terminator robots. Their stupid pointy feet would literally be the biggest hinderance in the desert as they sink into the sand..

These ain't country droids boy, these here are them city-fied droids.

This was my initial reaction in this scene.. i paused.. rewound.. and had to see it again

Language warning

“Think it Through” should be the definition of what Disney SW needs because when the script writer had found themselves writing Mando as saying “Think it through!” to Boba Fett of all StarWars characters, they should have realized the mistake they made with this show
Boba never once thought for himself in this entire show. This isn’t the same character

Edit: i watched it again without my perplexed rage and i guess Mando just said “Can’t get through”. Doesn’t make it much better because he still tells Boba everything to do, but hey, a mistake is a mistake.. Who’s the seasoned Bounty hunter again?

If they do a second season of Boba, I'd give it over to Bryce. Rodriguez is just...not good.

This amuses me, only because of how much HATE she got for that first Mando season 1 episode she directed.

But I do agree that the eps she directed in BOBF were much better. Too bad they didn't have Boba actually do anything IN them.

For that matter, how did he get from his Palace back to Mos Espa that fast on a Rancor? Do Rancor's run fast?

I wish they had let Garsa survive the blast in the last episode, and be part of the fighters in this one.
Her involvement could also have been made into a reason for staying in the blasted-out The Sanctuary.

I like to think she's laying in a bacta tank in the Mos Espa community clinic, with Boba picking up the tab.

No -- in a comic it doesn't matter whether you see the body or not -- they'll be back eventually, regardless. In a TV series or movie, it takes not showing the body.
