I had the exact same reaction to this entire sequence haha. I also immediately thought of the episode of Clone Wars 'Landing at Point Rain' when Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex are surrounded by droidekas and Rex actually uses his brain and walks slowly enough to get through the shield, and shoots it in the face. They even implied this was possible when Krrsantan tried to put his hand through, but the droid kicked him. I literally said out loud "wow, Krrsantan is at least smart enough to try it!"This was my initial reaction in this scene.. i paused.. rewound.. and had to see it again

“Think it Through” should be the definition of what Disney SW needs because when the script writer had found themselves writing Mando as saying “Think it through!” to Boba Fett of all StarWars characters, they should have realized the mistake they made with this show

I watched early this morning, but have been on planes all day, so I know I missed many pages of commentary…
…but that was pretty darn satisfying.
Are there things I would have done differently in eps 1-6? Absolutely. But I think we’ve beaten all that into the ground.
I would have preferred if Cad Bane had been a longer-standing menace. That said, given where we were in the story, and all of the errors and missed storytelling opportunities along the way, JF, RR and DF gave us a really good finale.
Still can’t believe they wasted Jennifer Beals like that, though.
