If anything they're maybe try and connect the dots, but I don't see anything getting done in that actual era. I mean, look at the stuff theoretically on the board....

All the TV shows are in this same time frame (Mando time), the one i know that isn't is a what? 50-100 years prior to the PT (acolyte), disney's big multimedia gambit is the high republic, Feige's movies are Old Republic time frame, i'd heard RJ's trilogy was OT time frame...originally Rogue squadron was post ST, but i've heard that's changed now as well.

The absence of ST time frame isn't like when LFL allowed books to be written and blocked prequel time frame stuff because they were working on the PT behind the scenes at the time. They just avoiding that timeframe by choice - at least to this point.

I was always OK with the prequels personally. My only complaint is there's no way someone opts to slaughter a bunch of kids (and not just that quickly, but at all) to save their secret wife. You'd have the be (extremely) mentally off to do that and they never established that. Not even in TCW. They established the 'i'll make peace my way' bit, but that's a far far cry from killing pre-schoolers to save your wife.

It may have been mentioned before, but this is probably an overt nod to Lone Wolf & Cub. The dad gives his toddler a choice of either a ball or a sword to determine if he picks a normal life or one of a warrior.

What happened there? I'd wager though that the dad doesn't tell him he can never ever choose the other path ever again - that he's stuck with the choice.

I kind of also take exception to Luke following the teaching path of the prequels when he himself did nothing of the sort. His strength was his family, not ignoring it and all attachments. That stuff didn't enter the equation for Luke until TLJ...

wicked weather here this weekend... my truck was frozen... couldn't open the doors... when i finally broke in it took me 22 minutes to actually defrost the windshield... then the damn tires were frozen in the snow.. ive been home all day surfing the net looking and i cant find any info... im starting to think they are his own workings...

Dude, I live in Arizona, it's 'down' to 60 degrees. Cracks me up all the natives wearing parkas and shivering. I'm originally from Minnesota.

my girlfriend is going to school in Florida, she tells me the other night and i swear to god "they are declaring a state of emergency and opening the shelters" here i am thinking its some random hurricane or something... nope.. it was down to 45 degrees...

i work outside for a living, i work in the teens, hell i will ride my bike in this weather. i actually was on it the other day in blizzard and it was below zero..

My daughters off to Illinois Sunday!.. I dont think they have Snow there yet..

Carrie Fisher was amazing but it did always irk me a bit when she would lament how people would comment on her appearance and how people expected her to look the same as she did when she was 20. No, her age wasn’t it at all. It was her rampant (and apparently ongoing) drug use and the impact it had on her appearance that people were commenting on. She was doing this to herself and it’s so sad she never could get out from under that spectre. By all accounts she was a good, fun person and it’s just a sad story all around.

Her younger years were pretty badly screwed up by her father and the party's he threw back then..

i searched for years... i found the casing but the graphic inside is different.. i wonder if they made a insert for it... its a german compass if my memory is correct, i have the data i collected of it on a old hard drive
