Just a sad situation all around
One day I’m gonna buy a bag of edibles and try to watch TROS again…. I haven’t made it through since having to watch it in the theater a few times*…
*Original time with a rpf member, Dave and his pals… then had to take my dad…. Then my Star Wars buddy I see em all with… then my cousin wanted to go but by then I was like “I CAN’T!!! It’s AWFUL!!!!!”
Now I’ve had some Mando goodness… and my burns have healed a bit. I enjoy a lot of these series but I may never be the same….
I need to return to the scene. I need to understand.
300mg should do it.

These days if you have the casing and have an image you could replicate one by printing out the image on transfer paper,like those water tats you got as a kid..
We did it when we sprayed an old PS1 and went over the graphics.. looks great

The studio i was at for YEARS went corporate and it went sideways as well.,. Most people i know left… the place went nuts with HR and everyone felt like they were walking on eggshells… we once were making R rated stuff and having a ball, now it’s “don’t compliment someone on their shoes or you’re going to HR”
Once a studio goes fully corporate, it feels like a sweatshop with craft stations (for some reason corporations think “Office crafts!” is what we need now that beer Friday is gone)
Eg: One time we were told we had the afternoon to make super Woke Name Plates for our desks…. And those of us who said “uhhhh pass, I gotta deadline and I’m not 5…”
Well we weren’t team players.

Andor and Obi-wan Kenobi take place between ROTS and ANH. I *think* The Acolyte takes place about a 100ish years before TPM. I'm curious because basically nothing is known about it. Also there's a Lando show(? I think?) in the works but nothing has been said about it either. Also curious to see if Rangers of the New Republic ever happens. With Cara Dune's sudden disappearance, I say let Carson Teva pay Cobb Vanth a visit and recruit him!
Back in '08, the phamacutical research company I worked for went under. I got 6 months severance but decided to work overnight stocking at Walmart just to stay busy.
First day I have to watch the orientation videos, & the first one was on 'appropriate' jokes, 'appropriate' compliments, & 'appropriate' topics for conversation in the break room.
HR lady comes in & asked what did I learn, & I responded, " Pretty much learned that I'm not allowed to talk to anyone.".
Was NOT her favorite associate.

so ive been doing some detective work the last few days. i know in the comics palpatine ends up doing a ceremony where he burns lightsabers on a balcony in a furnace
the crystals blow up and make different colors
and the last one he throws into the furnace was yodas
i stopped reading when ep8 came out, so this stuck out right away
i did some googling and found that yoda actually recently while on dagobah he rebuilt his lightsaber from scratch
