The Book of Boba Fett

I honestly think he was just about to speak for the first time, right before the scene ended.
Then it's going to be a CGI character or a Deep Fake. I don't think that puppet has the ability of forming words properly with the design of its mounth.

My wife just came up with a great theory.

Boba is reading "The Book of Boba Fett." This is why he has not been in the last two episodes. Also I think whoever wrote the book he is reading sucks at writing him. I am sure he feels the same.

It's so ironic. The only good thing in the Boob of Boba Fett are the things that have nothing to do with him.
That's why I want to re-name the series: "The Book of Booba Fett"

All joking aside she was a gorgeous woman wasn’t she..

With all respect to the dearly departed Princess.

The actress, Carrie Fisher, had a rough Hollywood life in many ways. And her appearance changed drastically from the 1990s to the 2000s. While we all age and change, hers appeared much more pronounced to me. Her smoker's voice caught up with her. She battled her mental disorder. Her admitted drug use affected her physical appearance. In my medical opinion, it was most noticeable around her nose (which became more bulbous and round at the tip) and her jaw. And somewhere in there are new teeth or dentures. She looks VERY different even from TFA to TLJ. So when they used cut footage from TFA for TROS, it was as she had a digital face lift.

What a talent, what a wit. Never had the chance to meet her in person.

RIP dear Carrie.

Choose both, little dude!!

I loved the episode, but this was the only thing that bothered me in it.

You have Luke telling, lets face it, a toddler, they have to make a choice that defines their life right NOW and the little guy can't even speak. It's like asking a 2 year old to pick their career path and telling them they can never go back. Luke could have just given him the armor and said 'he wanted you to have this when you were ready' which is less of a lie than Ben told him when he gave him his father's lightsaber....

Something else that struck me was Luke saying he didn't feel he was teaching Grogu as much as he was remembering. What would he actually remember? If he's 50, his time in the temple ended 30 years ago. If he's a toddler at 50, what the hell was he at 20? an infant? So where would this memory come from?

Speaking of Grogu, did we ever find out why he was held captive by the Nikto gang in the first episode of Mando season 1?

That’s still a mystery, afaik! Couldn’t even guess how he left Imperial custody but being the Nikto gangs tend to be portrayed as unsavory, maybe they were holding him for a king’s ransom?

Thats next week...
A loose haired ROTJ Leia chasing after him and Han shouting off screen

Wow, I don’t remember the slit going quite that high in the movie… I remember Carrie joking about no underwear in space! Is that a production shot? I know she did a “sexy” slave Leia beach shoot in the time around RoTJ.

It may have been mentioned before, but this is probably an overt nod to Lone Wolf & Cub. The dad gives his toddler a choice of either a ball or a sword to determine if he picks a normal life or one of a warrior.
