It indeed was not Pedro. The actor listed in the credits is a real-life guy (that is not Pedro). That guy was for sure not Pedro

What the heck did you eat today?!? LOLmy crazy mind just saw George and Lorraine Mcfly with Biff and his goons come in...lol
I am hooked with this as well! I wouldn’t have thought it either, when watching them and especially now with this episode, they have a very “Native American” feel to meI really like the second episode. The culture of the tusken is a great story...but I often think...why the hell they did that with Anakins mother?
I know George made them more animal then human...and this series wants to show a deeper look...but its always in my mind.
The Tusken warrior that trained Boba is a great actor. He has a good bodyspeaking.
But overall a great second episode.![]()
i could of said Biff and the sons of Anarchy...lolWhat the heck did you eat today?!? LOL
My thoughtI agree that this ep was a big improvement over Chapter 1. I, too, noted that Rodriguez neither wrote nor directed nor edited it.
I really don’t have any quibbles, other than Camie and Fixer. I usually love these little nods, but there really was no need for the scene to take place at Tosche Station, IMO, or for there to be a “scared couple” in there that Boba needed to rescue, who just so happened to be Luke’s buddies from a deleted scene in ANH. No reason other than “wink, wink, nudge, nudge, look-at-what-super-fans-we-show-runners-are.” Even for me, this was a little too much in the way of “fan service.”
Compare that to Black Krrsantan showing up, which made perfect sense in the context of the story.
My only question - and it’s not a quibble, because the answer might be forthcoming - is why the Twins waited five years to lay claim to Jabba’s assets.
The chieftain said that “other tribes resorted to killing” in order to survive. The subtext was that Shmi’s Tusken tribe was one of those, and Boba’s tribe is less belligerent. I am guessing the black robes are meant to demonstrate that these Tusken are different than the ones we’ve seen before. The culture of the tusken is a great story...but I often think...why the hell they did that with Anakins mother?

Maybe? But based on what Garza said, as well as their own little edict on that hinged-tablet thingy, I got the impression that this was supposed to be their first time laying claim. My thought
I have to watch it again, I thought they were in control once jabba died, and Bib was under the twins control. I’m going to have to re watch it again tonight. "
Thanks, I’m going to check those scenes tonight when I re watch it.Maybe? But based on what Garza said, as well as their own little edict on that hinged-tablet thingy, I got the impression that this was supposed to be their first time laying claim.
I totally missed that part! I don’t remember the leader explaining that, that’s in chapter 2?Kroenen77 The Tusken chief explains that there are many tribes, some of them who kill, others like theirs who hide to survive. The tribe who took Shmi seems to have been of the former, and we also don’t know why they took her and what they truly did to her other than it eventually leading to her death.
I don’t really have any feeling a about Cammie and Fixer, because if you don’t know who they are then it doesn’t matter they’re just more civilians being harassed by the gang. If you are in the know then it’s a cameo of minimal impact.
Yeah before the vision quest IIRCI totally missed that part! I don’t remember the leader explaining that, that’s in chapter 2?
You have to remember that is just one tribe/group of Tuskens, it's implied in this episode that not all Tuskens are the same culturally. While they all dress similarly and share some common traits, I don't think that they're all the same. Some are probably more aggressive than others while others probably prefer to avoid as much contact with outsiders as possible.I really like the second episode. The culture of the tusken is a great story...but I often think...why the hell they did that with Anakins mother?
I know George made them more animal then human...and this series wants to show a deeper look...but its always in my mind.

Dang, I got alot to pay attention to on this episode. Thanks guys you’re really making this easy for me with all the cliff notes of when and whereYeah before the vision quest
I think you are probably right, or at least very close, but if Jabba was such a Big Dog, and his syndicate was so vast, I’d be surprised that any Hutt (or the Hutt Council, for that matter) would let a puppet run the show.@squirk this may be the first time they needed to lay claim officially if Bib was a puppet ruler for them. Once he’s gone they have to openly declare their claim since a pretender is on the throne
I certainly got that impression watching them interact..The chieftain said that “other tribes resorted to killing” in order to survive. The subtext was that Shmi’s Tusken tribe was one of those, and Boba’s tribe is less belligerant. I am guessing the black robes are meant to demonstrate that these Tusken are different than the ones we’ve seen before.
Pretty sure that’s supposed to be a Tusken woman. And the actor listed in the credits is a woman, too.
Yeah, he says ”There are many different Tusken tribes. Since the oceans dried, we have stayed hidden. Other tribes have survived by killing.”I totally missed that part! I don’t remember the leader explaining that, that’s in chapter 2?
Kylash what is the source for that map? The show is playing things pretty fast and loose geographically from the looks of things so far. I definitely don’t remember Mos Espa looking like a huge canyon in TPM
