The Book of Boba Fett

I am in for the long-haul and it’s too early for me to draw any judgments regarding the show.

The only moment that I found to be ridiculous was Boba’s homage to Iron Man, when he got dressed to start his day.

The loud, over-the-top music, complete with the assistance of droids as he put on his boots, armor, and helmet, was hilarious.

Although, I have to admit, I have the same routine, myself, every morning. You should hear the loud, dramatic music that plays when I put my socks and shoes on.

Now, I just need the droids to help me out with this process…

Anyone else get the feeling that his nightmares are interrupting the bacta cycle? So he’s not taking complete treatments?
Do we know 100% if this time line is actually before Boba met Mando..that would explain his fatigue...

Or he's just been over indulging during the festive period.

I'm waiting for one of those clever YouTube channels to dub Bobas theme tunes from Empire along with a few other dramatic scores..
Empire really does have the best score of the OG trilogy..

Didn't Feenec disrupt his bacta time? The telling thing is what he said to her afterwards...(paraphrase) "the nightmares are back again". This looks like it will be a consistent driving force to where the series goes imo.

They just introduced a new theme when they did the little teaser at the end of Season 2 as well as a few times in The Tragedy, why not use that amazing theme? Didnt hear it once here.

The “present day” of this show is 100% after meeting Mando, because he has his armor. Not sure if that’s what you were asking though.

The barge gunner's shot hit the deck of the skiff, not Boba's pack. The explosion knocked him down. Maybe that indeed damaged the rocketpack, that's an intriguing possibility. But it wasn't a direct hit.

Remind me not to respond to dummies on YouTube:
"I'm surprised he didn't get a a vision of when he disintegrated Owen and Baru or Vader telling him no disintegrations when that group was basically pillaging that Farm house."

With some of the threads they pull on I wouldn’t be surprised…

Oh yes... my bad bit of a give away.
I do think we’ll be seeing some flashbacks that are directly before Mando from the looks of the trailer

Edit to avoid double posting: I really hope we get a flashback to Boba interacting with Bib and laying out why he came back to the palace to depose him. “I am owed a debt, this will repay it” etc.

Probably my number one issue with these series’ is that people very rarely discuss anything, they just allude to everything or ignore things completely.

Basically I need some doggone monologues

It’s still there, you can hear it a bit around the half way point of the episode, laid over the wide shot of Mos Espa where you can see the whole crater.

But I agree, I found that theme to be awesome and badass. Not sure why they chose to make a new one that feels less unique.

I also like the allusion of how Boba has the flashback of himself when he was a boy and he holds the helmet of his father in his hands and how when he was older after being captive to the sand people, he holds off hitting the youngling and then saves him from that huge creature and allows him to carry the head of it back to his people in triumph. Was this on purpose? idk, but it seems rather revealing of a sympathy he has maybe long forgotten since the day he experienced, as a child, that traumatic event.

What would be really good is a consistent decent running length for All the episodes.. or am I being greedy, here in the UK we are used to hour long episodes without Adverts.
It would be great if Disney could stretch to Forty Five minutes. it would allow so much more time to build and execute a coherent story without loosing flow or pace.

Its only the first episode so I bet Jon and Dave have some cool tricks up their sleeve.. There better be some Bossok action though!

at 12:11 into the show Fennec says "wake up boss" then Boba gets out and says, "the dreams are back" ...Fennec then says , "let's go"..seems she is leading him at this point...lol. It does appear as PTSD and he is relying on these "sessions"...good point
I agree, she also saved his butt from the red subzero ninjas

like, Boba became President and doesn't have a clue to all the prorocols and Fennec is like his Chief of Staff and he doesn't want to have to submit to all the necessary garbage that goes with being in charge but she's sharp as razor...and younger. to your earlier point, immediately after that fight he told his Gammorrian(bad spelling) guards to "take me back to the bacta tank"

I'm guessing he could have played it one of two ways..
Make yourself popular by saving Young Tusky which might not pan out..
Or
Allow the child to take the kill, maybe Tusky was an underdog who wanted respect and Daddy Tusky saw that Boba was compassionate and wasn't just a Thug they found in the Desert..

" Respect "

my instant reaction was the same as Halliwax', thought it was the farm but that's cool

Really!?!?!

I might be wrong, I didn't take into account that we had a picture of the outside from the original deleted scene. But we know it's going to appear in the flashbacks, so I immediately assumed they were setting up Fett's knowlege of its location. But it would be odd for them to faithfully recreate the interior and then redesign the exterior.
