The Book of Boba Fett

For something a little different, here's a video that both goes over the to be released Boba Fett Nerf blaster and why you shouldn't pre-order it. I have to say that if it actually comes out in the packaging shown it would make for a nice show piece, particularly after a repaint. But at $110 it's going to be a hard pass for me.

and the Picture of Jabba that got torn during the speeder chase...lol, completely missed it
Ralph McQuarrie now exists in universe.

I started having tightness in my chest, shortness of breath, & heartburn this afternoon. Came on up to the ER as a precaution.

Waiting to be taken back now, but when they ask me if I've been under any stress, I'm going to show the doc this thread.

LOL
I hope you feel better man, hopefully this thread you get a few laughs out of

I haven’t read much of this thread...but seriously, can anyone tell me why I’m supposed to care about this show, or whatever story this is that they’re trying to tell?

I don’t think the show is bad, per say...it’s just not very engaging to me. Like, I’m struggling to figure out if anything I’m watching is going anywhere at all?

I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan in the universe, and I have very little knowledge of “extended” canon...so am I missing something by not knowing everything about this character?
We are not supposed to care! All we are programmed to do is buy the new twins action figures, the new rancor black series, the new fett monopoly game, and fennec tall socks! Who cares about the show or the characters I want those socks!!

110 bucks!! You have to be kidding me!

All joking aside.. if I had a child and he wanted me to spend 110 on this I would have a extremely hard time allowing it.. 110 is black series level.. I’ve been saying this awhile and I think they are seriously starting to put price themselves.. this here is a classic example

I spend a lot of time (a lot of time) in the action figure collecting community, and through that I hear quite a bit about Hasbro's business practices, budgets, etc. Point is, they cut the Nerf team's budget again, after doing so a couple of years ago. The Fett blaster absolutely looks like a normal Nerf blaster that should cost $30 to $40, which is something we're seeing a lot of w/ action figures: the occasional product built to the standards of the lines from 10+ years ago, but costing triple or more, and only on special releases. Meanwhile most of what's at retail is built like crap now.

This is the best I've found:
This one has less texture, but is cropped, unfortunately: https://www.wallpaperup.com/uploads...0/243498/4bc7cb812301221ff9932f5676b93d9b.jpg

I took that one and ran it through an AI filter to increase the size. Came out pretty good:
Wow!!! Thank you! I’d like to get this framed, you did all the hard work already, wicked appreciate you sharing

No time to watch episode 3. Too much work.

So, I browsed through the last few pages of this thread - I don't mind spoilers.

The comments have been consistent and hilarious, and I trust the commenters, so it must be a bad one.

Then I came upon this image, and had a good laugh.

I thought "man, that's some good photoshop work right there!" Not the Voltron logo, but adding those scooters in the shot.

Then I thought "....that's some really good photoshop work..."

So...I decided to watch the episode, thinking those scooters cannot actually be part of the show. They simply can't.

I booked an appointment with my therapist first thing in the morning.

Crazy the prices they are fetching.. being a collector do you see any hype for it?
