I definitely looked at my wife while watching this episode and asked if she thinks Boba has brain damage. Which would honestly be an interesting angle for them to explore, if they were actually trying to explore anything at all, which I’m not sure they are.
Boba has a lot of weight as a character and viewpoint. He’s a clone, lived through the Clone War and rise of the Empire, raised by the underworld, outlived the Empire, escaped a dreaded and legendary creature (Sarlaac), and now holds the keys to a major crime element in the galaxy, yet the writers don’t really seem to be doing anything with it. Instead he’s fawning over a baby Rancor and hanging out in his spacuzzi all day. Do something with the character please! The stuff with the Tuskens was a start, and then it’s done and dusted one episode later.
