The Book of Boba Fett

I'm not sure I am following you. Are you saying the Jawas attacked the tribe, or were working with the swoop gang and/or the Pykes?

Or are you saying that the Tuskens killed the swoop gang, swapped clothes to make it look like the Tuskens were killed, and went back into hiding, possibly with the Jawas?

If so, what did the Tuskens use for new rebreathers if they left them on the dead Nikto?
Thank you for wanting clarification....i mentioned the Jawas(completely separate topic..my fault for adding them to this thought)

I'm saying there are possibilities out there that we can't confirm or deny until it's revealed. They all could be real Tusky's and the female has been captured...They could be all imposters(I don't believe that) but a few of them or even one of them could be a very well trained imposter, killed them all and made it look like it was the biker gang by writing the symbols( probably should stop watching Law and Order criminal content...Man I wish Vincent D'onofrio would be in Star Wars) lol.

Think about it, very possible. The Pykes shoot the Tuskens...Boba manhandles a biker gang by himself without armor and steals their bikes. Boba brought attention to himself by doing that. Tusky's pay the price. Trains the Tuskens to fight back the Pykes...then let's them go. He warns them then goes to the syndicate and walks away not fulfilling the consequence he promised. He is showing a lot of weakness all the way around and the one time he didn't he brought immediate attention on himself and others paid the price so...the fact that the Tuskens were all real and the female has been captured makes the most sense to me..but...i still think there is a mole among the tribe that knows Boba VERY Very well. I could be extremely wrong and probably am...lol

Change isn’t bad in and of itself but it’s more than that. What has he changed into? It goes beyond him becoming a “kinder and gentler” Fett.

Whether he was ever this or not, I think fans at least want a guy that is clever and cunning, cold and efficient. A guy a few steps ahead of the game. The guy we’ve got can’t seem to do much without his handlers and helpers and seems to need everything explained to him. He seems to be constantly on the defensive and off-balance, merely reacting. He’s been beaten up in the majority of the fight scenes we’ve seen in the show, outside of Tosche Station. He seems to have a shocking ignorance of how the underworld works, for having been neck deep in it for decades at this point. Is he senile? Is something wrong with him? If that’s an intentional plot point, I can more readily accept this but otherwise, it’s odd. If he’s been “dumbed and watered down” just for the sake of introducing some shoehorned character arc, that doesn’t really work for me.
Could not agree more.

If he had spent hours or days in the Sarlacc, whereby the fumes maybe - I don't know - impaired his cognitive function or memory, I might buy, even five years later, how much he needs to lean on Fennec and the Gamorreans.

But barring that, the character is only 40 years old or so. He should still be pretty sharp, and not constantly on the back foot when dealing with crime lords and their organizations.

Again, I can only hope Boba is playing everyone, including whoever allowed BK to get to him at his most vulnerable. The fact that Boba didn't instantly try to figure that part out means (maybe?) that he already knows who's working against him. I mean - who else can it be besides Fennec, 8D8 or one/both of the guards?

I aint pickin up what cher puttin down...lol

i didn't say that...but let's be real...anybody can get a can of rustoluem flat black and make symbols on a hut..lol

Lol and we All know you can make a rebreather out of a small shaving/coke can.
Cokes avaliable in the SW universe yes ?
"Its certainly sold all over Galaxys Edge"

You and i are on the same page

I see what you are saying. Yes, I fully expect that either the Pykes hired the swoop gang to take out the tribe, or the Pykes killed the tribe themselves and made it look like the swoop gang did it. I still don't buy that this cracker-ass swoop gang could slaughter the entire tribe like helpless lambs.

I'm still not convinced that there was a mole in the tribe. I mean, how would a non-Tusken infiltrate such a small closely-knit group? Why would a non-Tusken infiltrate this small, inconsequential group of "natives"? Nobody could possibly have known in advance that this tribe was going to come across Boba Fett half-dead in the desert. So what would this mole have been doing there in the first place?

The Jawas knew Boba was alive...they stripped him of the Armor...Could they have sold info? Or maybe His former trainer has kept watch over him from a distance like Ben did Luke.

A fine Actor who elevates any movie he's in..heck he made The 13th Floor Bad Ass!

Yeah, he’s an intense guy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Lady Tusken is indeed alive and returns to help Fett in his hour of need (Im sure he’ll have yet another one), maybe with the help of hundreds of other Tuskens behind her. Hopefully, this happens after the cyberpunk skittles vespa teens are brutally killed.

Did the Jawas know or care who they were stripping? They just saw potentially valuable junk to steal. I think the fact that the armor sat heaped in the sandcrawler suggests that they had no clue how valuable it was.

And even if they did sell info, that woman was a part of the tribe long before Boba made his appearance. A mole didn't insert themselves into the tribe within 24 hours of the Jawas locating Boba in the desert.

I would put money on the woman coming back. Again, I really thought she would have fled with the kid (or all of the kids), but Boba burning the training gaffi seems to confirm that "his" kid was in the pile of bodies.

Someone left alive after the Sail barge exploded ?
A legacy character with an Axe to grind ?
Moff Gideon..
What about The Empire ?
Maybe Threepio after all he had inside knowledge of Jabbas Palace

Ooh ooh... its Salacious Crumb, the real brains of the Fett Empire having sat in on all Jabbas boardroom meetings :D

Listen, sometimes i have to throw out some ideas so i can have it reposted back to me so that i can see how ridiculous it sounds, thereby narrowing down things in my tiny creative mind...lol...BUT..(We should all learn after complaining how 3 episodes have all kinds of problems, if they are getting the small picture wrong then it's not out of the realm of possibility they get the big picture wrong too). In this universe...anything can be twisted and written in...sadly, but true

Look, buddy - as I said waaaaay back in this thread, after "spider-legs" Maul and Meebur Gascon, there is clearly no such thing as a "too-stupid" idea for the SW universe. (y)

I'd argue the opposite. Granted that I did not like the space Vespa gang, I had no problems with how Boba used them. What he did was very crimelord like, instead of doing all of the dirty work himself, he sent his minions to do it for him.
Some dude pulls up on me in the middle of a dark alley and tells me to work for him.. yeah ok…

I thought everything about the episode was far fetched.. but then again it’s Star Wars it’s all a fantasy

I understand the complaints about Boba's changing character. This is who we fell in love with.

Not this.

I get that. The character has changed. And we don't like the change. It's not who we fell in love with. But as wise mother once said to her son. "You can't stop the change anymore then you can stop the setting of the suns". Boba has changed. The bounty hunter, who is only a bounty hunter because he was the clone son of bounty hunter, got smacked into the Sarlacc by a blind dude. When he got out, his legacy, who he is, was stripped off of him by a bunch of desert rodents. He was taken prisoner by Tuskens, until he won their respect, and now his new tribe, has been slaughtered....

We are sum of our expenses. And Boba has recently gone through some life changing experiences. He has new perspective. And he's trying to figure out what to do with that new perspective. He's changed. That's actually just some good writing. He should change. But it's tough for us to see the change. Particularly with The Mandalorian around. Yeah, he's almost more like Boba Fett, then Boba Fett. But even he is changing. He's befriended a Droid, he's removed his helmet. He's changing too.

The guy we’ve got can’t seem to do much without his handlers and helpers and seems to need everything explained to him. He seems to be constantly on the defensive and off-balance, merely reacting. Even in regard to fighting prowess, he seems clumsy and has been beaten up in the majority of the fight scenes we’ve seen in the show, outside of Tosche Station. I don’t think his fans wanted to see Fett in that way. He seems to have a shocking ignorance of how the underworld works, for having been neck deep in it for decades at this point. Is he senile? Is something wrong with him? If that’s an intentional plot point, I can more readily accept this but otherwise, it’s odd. Also, I totally thought the rancor was some sort of trick. Maybe it had a bomb in its belly. Actually, for a second, I thought we were gonna see something shocking and horrifying when the Twins said they had a “gift” for him. Like the mutilated corpse of someone we knew or somesuch. Seems more Huttlike but not very Disney.

I agree with you both. I am very interested to see an evolved Boba but was not expecting a devolved version, especially after watching him crush numerous stormtroopers with a Gaffi stick so recently. Maybe if I just change my expectations- Yeah, Boba is more like Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler and will go out in a blaze of glory off the top rope! His senility may also explain “The Book” that we haven’t seen yet. He needs to write things down in his book due to early dementia. “Female friend=Fennec, Madam Garza= Flashdance actress, keys for Slave 1= top drawer of cabinet”, etc.

Don't you get the feeling they are trying too hard to make Boba, Robin Hood?
