Boba enter a kids cresh Gets beaten up..
Boba goes into a bar..
Get beaten up...
Fennec gets drunk puts her coat on insideout oopsie she's the female Tusky...Boba(you guest it) Gets beaten up...

He's coming across a bit of a wimp really more Bubba than Boba ?

The House of Mouse it seems may have castrated the poor chap to sell more Toys..
Not so gritty more its just a pity

"Come on fella you survived The Sarlaac and something quite traumatic happened in this episode...

Show some Cahoonas and dismiss all those Rumours
Your better off dead
C'mon man.. Don't loose ya Head!..

Just watched it again.

I DO NOT like or appreciate the font or color of the closing credits.

My mind has been changed, that this show is a dumpster fire, & everyone who operates rides at Disneyland should be tarred & feathered for the outrage!

Not to mention that this Boba can do stuff that I didn't think of when I was playing with my figures... Trash.

Which is another reason for my b1tching… they aren’t consistent with what they are pulling from canon.. they made sure to include the scar Kenobi gave him but now krrsantan and fett don’t know each other?

Let’s bring back some consistency
Here here...
And if anyone thinks we are a bit annoyed or feal let down Dont go on the Dented Helmets thread

My Boba once I finally got him through the Post was a Bad Ass MF who never got his Ass kicked..quite the reverse!

But that was in the comics and as we know, the movies and shows aren't beholden to what happened in Legends or the EU. They are and always have been secondary canon. A great source for ideas but they don't have to use anything from it in its entirety and pick and choose what parts of it they use and how much of the back history of what they use.
So this excuse is great and all… but what happens when the inherent writing and character building going on within the stories is significantly poorer in quality and significance when coming from the ‘new giant corporate entity’ and owner of what has effectively been manipulated explicitly now into a brand/product, but used to simply just be three really special well made movies that were telling a really well written short story made by a group of artists under the guidance of producers/seasoned professionals.

What happens when you have a situation, much like with the Sequel Trilogy, where that new Corporate owner simply wants to create new characters(product) to capitalize on with merchandise in order to get a quick return on their financial investment, and their cheap & easy way of accomplishing that is simply sourcing stories, adventures, and would-be character accomplishments from those same Legends/EU stories in order to essentially ’Copy & Paste’ that onto their often hollow beyond the surface New Character(s). Normally in writing this would even boarder on accusations of plagiarism, but because Disney had enough absurd levels of money in order to legally to buy the rights to StarWars they are able to sidestep these negative accusations usually held in creative writing
We saw this happen with all the OT Heros in the creation of the ST where they are essentially ‘brought down’ so that the new characters can be cheaply ‘raised up’.. RIP Luke Skywalker… Id argue that the exact same is going on here with BoBF and The Mandalorian. Almost manipulatively so, and I kinda really despise it as something who loves creative writing. It was a disservice in the end with both Rey and Lukes characters in the ST, and its just as much a disservice here with Boba and Djin. They’ll both be worse off in the end for it

Which brings us to another interesting topic.. While it’s fairly clear that the films and writing of the OT and PT’s validity is without question… even if the PT is very poorly made, id argue the story is actually very sound, and that Lucas simply isnt as good a director as he maybe wishes he was, and that if honesty “Remade” with a competent team and some minor corrections would/could be phenomenal films/stories just as good as the OT… aka the core of StarWars Canon…
Why is it that Disneys SW products are held to the same regard in Canon vs just simply being a fun/interesting video media LE/EU fan take? Why is it that they aren’t held to a different standard much like the Marvel comics and the MCU and such? Or even many other book-to-film media?
Why is it with Disney StarWars that Video Media is now Law? Normally this would even have conflict of interest connotations given Disneys inherent financial interest, but even that is simply ignored.
If anything id argue the LE/EU are every bit the same thing as what Disney SW is in both intent and purpose of simply being a source for which Lucas/Disney to make more action figures and such to sell to kids..

Fett is coming off broken and beaten… always getting his ass handed to him.. had enough of it.. gave them 3 episodes now I really don’t care what happens and this is becoming more of the ST to me where I just don’t count it
Totally agree, Disney Star Wars is not for me

(I wonder how much Favreau is actually involved in this….I’m praying that it’s not a lot)

Every now and then, I see them in the sets and wonder if they’re filming at Galaxy’s Edge.
There have been several shots where I've said out loud "That looks like Batuu." I'm the only one in my house who has been to Galaxy's Edge. It wouldn't surprise me if they at least used files/plans for some of those structures for the show, or at least used the theme park land for visual reference. And why not? They definitely "look like Star Wars" and they haven't previously been seen on screen.

I was lukewarm on the first episode, loved the second episode, and really disliked this episode. Bobas street gang felt like something from Back to the Future 2. When the guy started poking holes in the car with his spiked boot, its all I could think of. One of the worst things Ive seen in awhile. Story and character elements have time to be saved, but cheesy stuff like that sticks no matter what happens.

Getting Robert Rodriguez for this show is going to bite them. All the goodwill built up from the Mandalorian is drying up fast.

Yeah, Im guessing his last episode will be the finale. I heard Filoni is directing ep 6, so that leaves Bryce Dallas Howard (sadly) and Favreau.
I honestly don’t think directors matter are this point.. not when the character has been nerfed this hard..

Bring characters in, throw them out the next episode.. nothing pisses me off more in life then this kind of direction…

From what I read it should go:

Episode 1: Robert Rodriguez
Episode 2: Steph Green
Episode 3: Robert Rodriguez
Episode 4: Bryce Dallas Howard
Episode 5: Kevin Tancharoen
Episode 6: Dave Filoni
Episode 7: Robert Rodriguez

I have no problems with Bryce. Her episode in S2 of the Mandalorian was one of my favorites. I just cross my fingers hoping Rodriguez can at least do decent in the finale,

I’ve really been enjoying the show for the most part but yeah, the Vespa gang just doesn’t work.

That Rancor though! I’m really impressed with how they pulled that off. They could have gone the full CGI route like with the Hutts but at the very least it looks like they built a full size animatronic/puppeteered head and shoulders. Maybe combined with some forced perspective techniques for the wide shots in the pit.

That being said, Boba better fire his damn blaster by next episode.

I thought both of Howard’s episodes were pretty blah although I agree her second was better than the first.

So is Favreau *not* directing an episode this season? I thought I read he was.
