The Book of Boba Fett

It's there, but kinda light. I didn't see it either until it was pointed out on a New Rockstars recap video. Plus, it's been what, 12,15 years? Maybe Woolies just heal different.
Fair enough. It just seems like the scar was one of his defining physical attributes in the comics. I guess I’m wondering “they did such a great job realizing everything else about him, why take out the scar?”

Very fair point, especially if they decide to show how he got it in an episode of a certain upcoming show.

Quite so.

Perhaps I am answering my own original question, but maybe bacta took care of all that at some point?

I really don’t read the comics, so I’m not sure why he didn’t get a bacta treatment right after it happened, especially since it looked like he was blinded in one eye - an injury which, like the scar, is also noticeably absent in BOBF.

I didn't clock this weeks episodes time stamp but really feel the show is being some what compromised with its story telling by its length...
OK we get its expensive to make but at only 7 episodes under half an hour with titles etc they seem to be running as though they need to get to the next scene all the time..
I fear they are just using Boba as like a throwaway character to just bridge to the next upcoming SW show...

I think the bike gang were an attempt at what George tried to do with hot rods in AotC. As far as the chase goes, it DID seen like it was shot kind of clunky, but it felt like a tribute to Back to the Future to me, including the 'bad guy' sliding sideways into the cart & the way the fruit spilled into the speeder.

That's who they reminded me of, Griff's 2015 gang. Complete with cybernetic enhancement.

Don't view this unless you've watched ep3

So...wait a minute...The droid that interrupts all the time and is clearly not loyal to Boba fell asleep without any warning of BK's entrance?
Fennec who briefs Boba on everything is awol until the end? Could have killed BK but dropped him in the pit alive. Then lifts up her feet at the dinner table? Oh, and the female Tusken is awol too? hmmm...seems like the big double cross is on to me. BK gets released and replaced with a Rancor which is obviously being trained to kill Boba along with its' trainer. The Pikes killed the Tuskens and framed the Biker gang with the symbols which Boba, btw manhandled a group himself after being trained by the Tuskens so highly doubt the bikers came back for the Tuskens. How would the Twin Hutts know Boba is so forgiving now and would accept the BK as tribute and not kill all of them unless they were briefed by someone who knows Boba really well? I'm telling you...female Tusky is Fennec and she's the double crosser . Boba won't eat the Kings meat and be manipulated by luxury and riches where Fennec is telling him to indulge. Everyone doesn't respect Boba because they are confusing his rebirth as weakness and being soft, but he will ultimately double cross the double crosser.

1.) Based on the comics, Boba has a history with BK - via Jabba, no less - and knows that he (BK) is a very accomplished bounty hunter in his own right. Why did Boba talk to him like they were strangers and that BK is a novice who needed some “sage advice”?
But that was in the comics and as we know, the movies and shows aren't beholden to what happened in Legends or the EU. They are and always have been secondary canon. A great source for ideas but they don't have to use anything from it in its entirety and pick and choose what parts of it they use and how much of the back history of what they use.

I honestly think this would be so bad ass if fennec and fett reversed roles

If fett had fennecs personality I think the show would have a totally different feel

Fett is coming off broken and beaten… always getting his ass handed to him.. had enough of it.. gave them 3 episodes now I really don’t care what happens and this is becoming more of the ST to me where I just don’t count it

Grey Ranger looks like Gary Potter got lost on the set of Harry Potter and ended up in Star Wars. The girls bike needs more cowbell though...

I was thinking the same thing, the guy in grey looks like some sort of Harry Potter meets Star Wars crossover cosplay. The girl makes me think of some sort of rocker chick from the '80s like Joan Jett.

I agree with everybody else about these guys, I enjoyed this episode for the most part, but this space Vespa gang really sucked. Totally out of place and the chase scene was rather meh

Which is another reason for my b1tching… they aren’t consistent with what they are pulling from canon.. they made sure to include the scar Kenobi gave him but now krrsantan and fett don’t know each other?

Let’s bring back some consistency

This episode description has every bit as little effort in it as the episode itself… action figures smashing into eachother and things randomly happening because they need to
Anything that occurs over the episode (or last) is essentially undone, bringing this stories (non)progress to TLJ levels of meh

The new EU was touted as "one canon" with the films. Easier said than done, because it's quite the juggling act. So I expect errors, but outright ignoring the EU isn't how it's supposed to work.

See, I'm not seeing ANYTHING that says they don't know each other. Boba even refers to him being a gladiator when he first appeared with the twins, showing that he knew at least some of his backstory. They were both hired by Vader to do a job, but nothing in that says they have a relationship like Boba & Fennec. Their existence was loyalty to whoever was paying them. Not each other.

As far as the kids being out of place, I agree, but let me ask this... Would that have looked out of place on one of the core worlds? Probably not. I looked at them like kids that live in a small, rural town in Podunk, Nowhere, that decide they're going to be punk or goth. Trust me, I know, when you're at the feed store & Elmer is in his finest overalls, & then you see Wednesday Addams following behind him with her mohawk spiked about 13 inches high, it looks out of place.

...all while Fennec lifts her legs up at the dinner table...She clears a lot of paths for Fett...too many, in fact. Now we know who repaired Fennec with her robot torso too...she's probably the fifth person in the biker gang too...lol, The Black lion that will ultimately form Voltron(facetious) lol
