The Book of Boba Fett

I really dread Wednesdays and Thursdays before 9pm. I work out of town during that time, and can’t watch the show until I get back to my girlfriend’s house Thursday evenings.

I’m never spoiled on anything through a forum, but social media (Facebook and Instagram) users have no censor. Episodes will be up for what seems like minutes and the spoilers will show up in TOTALLY unrelated groups or posts. Group or page members will cross post Star Wars content into whatever section they feel like, so the last two weeks I’ve been 100% informed of the episode contents because of pictures being posted.

This week I’m going to try and stay off social media during that time.

I don't like to **** on people or talk bad, but 3 episodes is enough to confirm my fear that RR is just a bad director. He cannot shoot a good action scene to save his life. That biker gang is the lamest looking thing I've seen in any of the 5 movies and 2 tv shows. But I did call it on the Tuskens getting the Anakin Skywalker greetings.

Agreed, that chase was slow and boring and the attempts at comedy during it not funny. Fruit stands? Really?!

….ok so what am I actually watching… 4th episode now.. I’m growing wicked concerned…

"I could run faster than this!"
Part of it is that it had very low stakes. Who cares if the mayor's aide drives away? He isn't carrying the lost ark.
.

Yet another lame offering from Robert Rodriguez.
Guess he’s a one bit wonder.. RR is directing every episode of this series? Or is RR the producer of the show? I’m going to have to google this right now to try and understand

He directed 2 episodes of the released 3. He is also the executive producer. I think he may be more of a George Lucas....better at ideas and producing and weaker in directing.

I think with all the tv shows being made they need some action only directors to come in and just do the action scenes.

Mixed feelings on this episode. Some stuff I loved, other stuff definitely did not (those bikes and the people riding them were horrible). Either way, still enjoyed it overall.

One big issue I have is its way too short. Both this episode and the first were cut quite abruptly. The pacing and length of episode 2 I thought was fine however.

My biggest problem, and I’m like this with every movie, and show.. why I introduce huge characters to just throw them away…

Why introduce the twins, have this deep entrance at the end of the last episode.. to have them thrown away by the next… same thing with krrsantan.. what the actual hell kind of fight was that?! I seriously don’t get this… the kids on the mopeds was totally out of place.. those kids felt like their costumes and props came off a power rangers set.. totally out of place..

I think they need to start spending less on useless CGI.. introducing these CGI characters to simply not use them anymore.. take that money and invest in better direction and fight coordinators..

And for the record..

krrsantan worked for jabba.. you’re telling me he didn’t know about the trap floor? Get out of here…

Dude, you need to watch the El Mariachi trilogy and From Dusk Till Dawn, as well as Planet Terror. Those are quintessential Robert Rodriguez movies.
I watched the first el mariachi a very long time ago, to the point I don’t remember any of it, I’ll have to rewatch it in some down time

The biker gang looks like they were designed off facebook group anime characters and poorly at that. They just feel like a bad attempt at creating convention characters.

I get that a big part of the show is showing an empty palace slowly being filled up with people/creatures. I don't like talking **** about something unless it 100% deserves it and cannot be denied thus securing my position to never being wrong about anything ever. Those kids are horribly designed and not cool to anyone....young or old.
