i figured ...i saw your review of the Darksaber....i have to tell you, you were trying really really hard to say something good (The Stand was the best part..) or like a person whose hit there finger with a hammer next to a youth, used amazing restraint holding back an expletive...lol

One of the biggest disappointed me in this hobby.. I felt I was lied to.. baited, patience tested.. and delivered almost a year later..

Same thing with the Transformers...the 3rd party ones are kicking their hind ends in appearance and quality...absolutely ridiculous...honestly, i was amazed you even bought it in the first place because i don't think i've ever seen you have a hasbro saber of any sort

dark saber is my second favorite saber of all time... i wanted every officially licensed one. first i saw the galaxies edge one.. and lightly threw up in my mouth.. skipped it, signed up for the black series that sold out in 10 minutes.. if i was shown what was actually delivered, i would have never pre ordered.. nope

i have ordered some new tools to help me over haul this thing, but covid is killing me... still waiting for some new stuff to arrive.. then im completely over hauling this.. custom blade, 3d printed chassis and most likely CFX... my friend thinks im nuts, but im serious.. this is my plan and im going to do it to prove that hasbro dropped the ball..

You rock!! do it....The best Star Wars stuff ever made has been by fans, not companies...it's sad they have the license but destroy the product..or don't do it justice.

That looks pretty cool. I wonder if it's 1:1 scale because if it is, a new paint job would be all it would take to make it look close to screen accurate..

I was going to ask you if you knew of any other reference photos where the scope meets the base...i can't quite make out that part of the "official pic". Don't know if you noticed or not that they took the company label on the scope and just rotated it so it's facing down at the base.(maybe another thread for this discussion?)

so i took morrisons heigh... 68.4 inches and scaled it to the ee3. coming up with little over 32" the rifle is also on a small tilt..

Thanks...i've found some parts...but that scope base has me puzzled as to what they used with those rods...looks like they inverted the scope rings so the base screw is on opposite sides . I would love to know the legit base its on. Those quad locks aren't very rare but the height of them i need to verify because there are quite a few models. Anyways, thank you...i'll start my research very soon

Hasbro has been dropping the ball for quite some time yet people keep buying their sabers. I don't get it.

I hope your overhaul goes well, would be interested to see how it turns out.
