The Book of Boba Fett

PEACEKEEPER, not PeaceMAKER. :) Boba brought peace. All it took was killing all the trandoshans, aqualish, pikes, nikto, barada...
I stand corrected, oops ! And for some reason I can’t explain, he did bring peace…for now. Bring back Temuera Morrison, always remember and also respect the legacy of Jeremy Bulloch.

And for the record…I liked all the performers in this series, because you have to be bold to join a franchise with a lot of history and expectations. Imagine if we had nothing since the OT. And that’s from one who saw all before the special editions and edits, with their own eyes.

Here is the Boba I wanted.

How cool would that have been? Maybe if he had been a little creepy and psychotic, a little off his rocker? That would’ve been a unexpected take that might’ve been neat.
Brando’s character was the inspiration for Stellan Skarsgard when he played the Baron Harkonnen in the most recent Dune movie. You’re right- that would have been much more interesting.

Well, sounding like a broken record now:oops:o_O:rolleyes:, they certainly didn't respect Jeremy Bulloch's legacy! Again people: keep the helmet on! You can convey emotions/feelings with good writing and acting...say like........Mando!

Until it is officially established in canon that this is nothing more than a clone who, because of blunt force head trauma, thought he actually was Boba Fett, I will continue to believe so.
Aimlessly wandering around yelling at people and bunny droids, “I am Boba Fett!” That screams TBI or dementia. The next chapter in the book will be Boba in an assisted living facility. :)

Boba (wearing a pajama, sitting at a table): "I am Boba Fett! I am a dangerous man! I will kill you!"
Twilek Nurse: "Yes, yes. But first we'll eat our pudding."
Boba: "Mmh, OK. But after that I'm going to kill you. (takes a bite) ... Mmh ... You wanna ride my Rancor? I could teach you..."

I think we needed at least One more flashback to at the very least show his beef with Bib..
I guess it depends now if The Mouse House commission another series..

And its not the first person to don the suit either...

Heres a thought... Cobb Vanth was im guessing a native of Tatooine, so he must have been aware of both Jabba And... Fett, by that reasoning did he aquire the Armour from the Jawas who incidentally may have have Also known him to strike fear into the lawless in Free Town ?
If he was The most Feared Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy the costume would surely be a recognisable one..

Yeah everyone likes a slightly unhinged character...
Look at Judge Dredd based on Dirty Harry and been around since early 1977 and Never taken his helmet off!
We won't mention Stallone.. infact yes we can, you'd have thought the clues were in that Movie..
Karl Urban kept infact demanded he would only play Dredd with his firmly on and the movie is much more Stylish and Brutal for it.
Its a shame the TV series is still in Limbo Hell...

Here's what I don't get....Fett is taking over Jabba's empire, right? Wasn't Jabba a gangster who ran a crime empire? What exactly is Fett trying to do? He never really does anything criminal. They almost make it out like he's running some sort of "protection" racket, but it actually just seems more like a security force, and not a very good one at that.

I mean, after Boba gets control, what exactly is he planning on doing? Running crime? Are we supposed to be rooting for that?

Maybe season 2 ought to be more of a Breaking Bad type situation. So, Fett had his change of heart after the Sarlacc and the Tuskens, but soon realizes he can't get out from under the 'umbrella' of the corruption of Tattooine. Finally, he just embraces it and becomes the bad ass we all thought he should be. Maybe, I dunno, maybe Mando would have to be the one to come and take him out.
It almost looks like Fett is overseeing and ensuring the stability of Mos Espa in general. In doing so, he is focusing on the criminal underworld. Much of the economy is tied to it, and most factors that could lead to unexpected violence and instability come from the criminal elements.

So...a protection racket, but one that may actually be beneficial/wanted. At least, that's how I'm making sense of it in my head.
