The Book of Boba Fett

Questions- How the devil did Vanth kill the first two Pykes with one shot? And, how the devil did the Jawas get the Krayt dragon skull on the top of the sandcrawler like a mattress on a car?

Kill a deputy and you break the sheriff. Kill the Sheriff and a deputy steps up for vengeance.

The Marshal in this case has a duty to his people, so losing one is a big blow that could make him tuck tail and stand down. A deputy is there at the service of the Marshal, and that loss would embolden him to act out.

He doesnt. If you watch it again (and again and again :) ) there are 2 shots very very close together for the first 2 and then a third. I thought that the first watch through but caught them on the next.

I fully agree. Bane wanted to set an example. The deputy was a perfect target because he was so excited and certainly would not have been a great shot. He shot at Vanth to stress that he was serious. He was fully aware that Vanth knew he could have killed him as easily as the deputy, especially during a stand-off. However, the poor appearance of Vanth did not make him look like a "worthy" opponent either. I think some code of honour plays a role here, too. Similar to the Predator who prefers to kill armed people and lets unarmed women and children go.
What caught my ear was Bane's comment about Boba being "a cold-blooded killer who worked for the Empire." Like there was some suppressed rage there.

The irony, of course, being that Bane himself is a cold-blooded killer who worked for the very Sith who created the Empire.

Was his comment just a ruse to get Vanth to question his loyalties? Or did something happen to Bane in the 28 years or so since we saw him in BB that gave him cause to really hate the Empire and despise Boba as an even worse cold-blooded killer than he himself was?

I know in the Legends continuity, the Empire really clamped down on the bounty hunting trade. Not sure if that's what has Bane so angry? Seems like there might be more to it than that.

What I dont think has been mentioned is the amount of interaction between All the different species and Tribes on Tatooine in this series..

Heck we even found out Jawas dig humans!..

That’s one of the things I love about all these new shows. So much cultural detail being added.
i too really enjoyed the story telling of the tuskins, i think its the sign language that pulled me in... and then their native America feeling. i am obsessed with native american culture because i was born and raised in a town home to natives, and the amish... obsessed with those two cultures

so Mottrex, just brought up something ive questioned... why tattoonie? what makes it so important?

is it because its a wasted dead planet that no one shows interest in, so its easy way to transfer spice?

is it even being transferred or is tattoonie just a home world to spice heads?

This episode was really cool. Lots of surprises! When I saw the blurry shot of him approaching I gasped so loud and had to pause it to take a breather. Couldn't believe what was happening haha. I loooove Cad Bane and have wanted him in live action for years. I think they did a really good job with him, but the one thing I can't overlook is his goofy teeth. All I could see was that confused girl meme  Regardless, he looks super creepy and intimidating so I'm pretty pleased.

Luke looked phenomenal compared to his goofiness in the s2 finale. I'd still rather them have cast a real human being, but that ship has sailed at this point. The Luke/Grogu sections were fun but I found it a little boring tbh. The traditional Jedi stuff has grown increasingly less interesting to me over the years, and the reason why I love Ahsoka so much is she's seen the flaws of the order firsthand and was burned by their hypocrisy. She's an outsider who was able to transcend their ridiculous dogma and sees through all their bs. However, in this episode it was frustrating to see her preaching the "no attachments" rule to Din, and playing games with him to force him to let go of Grogu. Almost felt like a regression of her character imo.

Surprisingly, I didn't find myself nearly as hyped as I was last week when the episode finished. I'm not quite sure what it was, possibly a mix of the directing, pacing, weaker cinematography, too much Jedi stuff, and generally too many action figures in the sandbox. Need to watch it again to see if my opinion changes, but still a great episode.

Here's a shot of the new clones. It seems they changed the armor to be more real world in terms of fit and functionality. They changed all the proportions and curvature of the armor while keeping the anatomy of it the same. The belt is 100% different so is this a special squad?

can't tell for sure may have also removed the lip around the visor. You can see they also changed the blaster rifle.
