Just an update on the flashlight build for the 2022 Pattinson costume - The source light and the belt clip are the only things that have been possible to truly I.D. in these months since I posted about them.

The lens shroud, though yes, it looks like a thick worm-clamp (Jubilee clamp et al), there isn't a diameter or thickness that matches this (that I'VE found). I've been down the road of rifle scopes, camera lens adjusters and all sorts of other things. If anyone truly has an idea here, you'd make my year by letting me know, but trust me "It looks like a worm clamp." isn't gonna cut it.

The section that covers the barrel could be anything. I've made it here with EVA foam just to check the dimensions out etc. It goes around one of the smooth spots that they have on either side of the barrel. I put it on the side where the "coast" brand logo is, after sanding and painting over the logo. The belt clip is pretty generic and I need to fasten it down using something else besides my pin vise to drill the screw holes.

Not the sexiest piece of Batman gear, but I wanted to give a progress update.

With 2023 now here, I am going to get started on the new, improved Batman. Modifying and buy parts that are accurate as it gets. The belt is going to tricky.

Hey all, I'm no expert but after some googling I think I might have an ID for the nylon baton holder or at the very least a good start.

I found this ASP Nylon Scabbard that has similar side folds, bottom, and lip seam. Only real issue I can see is that the lip curves on the ASP whereas the one used for the film is straight. The bottom is pretty squared off, maybe some molding it could be flattened more? Might also have a diameter that's a tad small.

hi all, I'm looking to make my own armour and also the under suit. I've been doing a lot of searching but I can't find any good templates for the ab armour. Does anyone know/ have any templates that are accurate? or maybe even a cheap 3D model that is accurate to the film?
If not I'll have to draw my own out.

Good news: I brought and paid for a pair of Austrian KAZ03 Combat Boots from a seller on Instagram. He was very legit and very helpful with the buy.

Now, this marks the first purchase in my Gotham Project Volume 2.

Has anybody got any solid references for the utility belt? I’m looking specifically at how they cut it apart and frankensteined it together with elastic and such. I’m gonna be doing the same with my own belt soon

Has anyone tried flexible inner pouches on the inside of a utility belt facing the wearer? These would be for pills, baggies…softer things.

These look like they might be the best alternative available to the Mechanix Wear Breachers, the screen used gloves for the movie. The knuckle plating and specifically the the plating on the fingers here look like the closest I’ve seen yet

I’d like to get the Breachers but they’ve been discontinued and I’ll never find a Medium pair I could justify paying that much for. These look really close tho and I pulled the trigger on em

Yeah, usually they are pretty expensive. On Amazon and Ebay.. I did not know they were discontinued.

Yeah I reached out to Mechanix about them and they said they didn’t have any plans to continue them unfortunately even after I dropped the info that they’d sell well with Batman cosplayers
