Does anyone else think that the gloves might not actually be Mechanix Wear Breachers, but custom-made gloves based heavily on the Breacher? I think a similar approach was used for a few different gloves on some of the
Star Wars movies David Crossman also worked on, like the ones worn by Jyn Erso in
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so it makes sense that he'd do the same thing for
The Batman. Some of the differences between the Mechanix Wear and Batman gloves that I noticed are:
- The thumb has a completely different design.
- The index finger also has a bit of a different design and a new finger guard, but maybe that has something to do with the "removable trigger finger" on the Mechanix Wear gloves.
- There's more space between the two stitching lines around the knuckle guard and the two stitching lines above the finger guards on each finger.
- The knuckle guard obviously has fewer lines in it, but those could have been filled in as has already been demonstrated in this thread.
- The lines going through the finger guards kinda look more angular.
- The palm could also be a different design too, but it's hard to tell with just the pictures I've found.
Here's reference pictures of the Batman gloves:

And the Mechanix Wear Breachers for comparison:

Another similarity between
The Batman and
Rogue One costumes is that there's zigzag stitching lines around the bottom of the sleeves of both the Batman costume and Shoretrooper costume's undershirts (which is also usually covered up by the gauntlets on both):

Speaking of the undershirt, I wonder if that is what the Fidlock SNAP female fasteners for the neck armor and chest piece are attached to, or if those are on another layer worn on top of the black undershirt. You can kind of see a strap in the fourth image here that might be for a separate gray/reflective vest or something that the fasteners are attached to, separate from the undershirt:

Also,
a writer for Screen Rant got a copy of The Art of The Batman early and posted some pictures, including this one that shows cowl concept art and what looks like a cowl with bullet holes sitting on a stand in the Batcave:
