The Batman costume research and found parts ID

Hey guys! Recently started looking into making this kit and planning to go with NincoCreations. Thought you'd wanna see this find, I found the belt buckle! Seems to be a slightly modified Makefast 50 mm Failsafe Triple Action Buckle with Adjustor.

As we can see, they seem to have changed some parts of the buckle, leading me to just print one and not get this but if you're a diehard accuracy guy, this may be the way. Here are the changes I can see:

- They've changed the geo on the slant on the left side action to release the buckle.
- Ground down the top and bottom of the adjustor side to make it flat, and added a textured bar.
- Covered the makefast logo, and the two screw ports (maybe it's the backside?)
- The left side of the buckle that the belt loops through has been ground on the outer edge to be flat.

EDIT: originally I said 40 mm, but the post has been updated to say 50 mm to accommodate the 2" belt.

So I just spoke to the sales guy. They stoped making the product but are thinking about making it again due to the Batman inquiries. He's very aware now. So just an FYI he said to email the sales team inquiring about it so the can see demand. Also include how many you want.

I'll email and ask if the remade product will include the new details present on the Batman buckle.

Just checking to make sure I emailed the right sales team, it is sales@makefast.com correct?

*if putting the email in is against the rules, I'm sorry just making sure I contact the right people.

So that buckle is 40mm which is 1.5”, pretty sure the belt is 2” Since it’s a duty belt. Makefast has the larger version of this buckle at 50mm, but it is also different.

The buckle also is attached to the Makefast 50mm Triangle with Nylon Bar as identified on page 3 of this thread.

The buckle I posted looked like this, unless you add the "adjuster", that'll make the 50 mm one work!

Hi,
I think the holster is a modified Rothco Deluxe Adjustable Drop Leg Holster.

The stitching matches, as you can see in the little "triangle in the lower left of the cover. The leg straps also match, sans the buckles.

They cut and added an extension to the the wraparound cover, and also added a couple of snaps. They also sewed an strap on the lower opening of the holster as a kind of retainer. Hot Toys reproduces that very well.

I remember seeing the shots of the stunt guys with the snaps under the suit. After seeing the pic from the behind the Batman book. Where the top is open I went back to the pics I’ve gathered over the year or so. I did a search and it looks like fidlock snaps. The piece on the suit u see is the female piece. So I assume the make piece is under the chest. I’m pretty sure I know the drifter jacket and helmet as well. Will post soon

Would appreciate the drifter info I’m having a hard time tracking both down! Thanks

The helmet is a shoei ex zero with the visor added

Inside jacket is a black zip up hoodie

Jacket is a brandit MA-1 bomber jacket

Hat is a burgundy snap back

Pants are caterpillar mens trademark pants

Boots are still the TCX heroes. The reason they used these boots was because Rick the stunt guy was sponsored by them. He told me that.

I ordered the pants and they will be here tomorrow. I’ll let you know how they look and sizing

They are based off a flight suit but haven’t been able to track down the exact one. I believe they followed the design and made in house. Once the book comes out next month we will be able to see more of what they are. And maybe can I’d. Better
Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Does anybody have any references or tips for what the chest piece looks like with the emblem batarang/knife removed?

It looks like we have the list of items in his utility belt. Now we just need people to make all of the items!

I messaged you about this stuff!

Has anyone been able to identify the front left pouch yet? The one right behind the cylindrical tool on his belt. It almost looked to me like a lock pick set or the type of pouch police might carry rubber gloves in, but I haven't found a good match yet.
I think this is the handcuff holder. Not sure on make and model.
