I’ve watched this no less than 10 times so far. I can get enough. I had a strong feeling that all the people hating on the suit design so far would eat their words upon seeing the first footage, but I underestimated quite how much this would beat even my strongest expectations. What a fantastic time we live in.

I really didn't like the look of the suit design from the teaser and stunt shots. While it's still not my favorite it looks so much better in the context of the film. I am really digging the cowl and I love the fact the cape isn't some ridiculous, dramatic thing that drags on the floor behind him. Nice and short, makes more sense that way.

Yeah, I too was against the suit when I saw it on the stunt actor. But now seeing it on pattinson, i'm digging it. Would've like if they went with grey/cool black armor plates rather than brown/warm black.

The suit is definitely gray and black but the weathering and dirt is brown from what I can see in the 4K trailer!

After several pattern iterations in foam, I'm almost ready to try this thing out in 2mm veg tan leather.

This is a prototype leather cowl from one of my first patterns and I've been using it to test different stitching methods. It's impossible to put it on without some sort of closure, so I think I'm going to use some sort of magnetic closure at the side of the chin.

These look fantastic!!!! I would stuff the ears or put something in them to straighten them but it’s really impressive so far any chance you could post the foam template?

I'll post the templates once I'm happy with them, but they won't translate perfectly to foam. I'm still tweaking the ears and the neck area.
