I know your talking about brief cases. But is it possible that the had a honeycomb shaped instrument that was heated up enough to make an impression in the suits fabric? Because when you look at the way it looks there is no way that its puff paint or just an illusion. the shadows under the honeycombs are to perfect. Just a thought

On the camera: Are you all absolutely sure it's a Yashica? I know Yashica made a Leica copy, and in the comic book Peter's first camera which he used to take his first pics for the Bugle was his Uncle Ben's old Leica.

As you can see in the picture, peter' backpack is not Jansport Superbreak, but Jansport Slaker because there is a little logo on the right side!!

You can see the Yashica logo and make out its 'GSN' model signage in the film itself.

I believe I have identified one pair of Peter's pants, keep in mind these differ from several pairs seen later in the movie but I believe his jeans from the final scene are Michael Kors due to the flat studs and stitching. However- I noticed earlier in the film his pants do not appear to be denim jeans, but a more cotton based fabric.

I noticed the white label that appeared to follow Levis style of pants and in searching I turned up with these

Levi's 505™ Straight Trousers - Black - Trousers - The black ones obviously

To further assist my proof is the promo picture of Peter in the dining room with the briefcase where you can clearly make out the pocket detail

I honestly think that jacket is the Vince field jacket in black. Not sure if they made it in black, as I haven't been able to track that down online but it in every way, right down to the gold buttons and other features, resembles the army green Vince. Granted, it could just be a really, really similar field jacket from another brand (an Amazon or Ebay search of the term "field jacket" proves that there are a lot of 'em out there, all with slight variations from each other) but that's my thinking as of right now. Either way, I hope someone can ID it soon!

i noticed the thumbholes on the thermal shirt and blue sweatshirt seem pretty unique. they dont appear to be cut into the shirt...its almost like they were manufactured that way.

ive tried some quick searches to see if i can pin a brand down. no luck so far. will keep u all posted if i figure it out. appreciate all the insight from u guys so far tho :cool

I don't think the thumb holes are premade. They would have a stitch around them to tip you off. It makes sense from a design point for Peter that this would be done after the fact

Had a good find on my local craigslist today. Only $40, not bad. Shutter works and everything. Planning on doing a street clothes Parker for a local convention. Might just have to replace the light seals and things to get it fully functional again. I'm having a bit of a hard time with the strap though. Can't seem to find it on ebay. Anyone know where else I might be able to get one?

How the hell did you get the film tray open, I've been trying for ages. I assume it's that little button on the under side of the camera, which I'm guessing is battery opperated.

With most cameras of that style, you flip up the little handle to rewind the film and pull up on the disc it's hinged on to release the door. The little button releases the gears that only allow the film to progress forward while you're shooting, so you're able to rewind.

Maybe this camera is different, but give that a shot!
