Could you post a link to the person who sold the jacket on ebay? Just in case he decides to sell another some time. 
I'd say the soundtrack of the movie and Peter's tshirts/posters give us a lot of information about that.
The Shins, Coldplay, Phantom Planet, The Ramones, etc. A lot of Indie Rock.

yeah, good find. it's pretty accurate except it doesn't have the 2 zips and the collar is a bit different, but its good!

He made a good replica of the AS costume. He ordered a pre made one from the internet and did a few touch ups. The finished product was awesome

This is actually a decent look alike to Peter's black jacket. I've owned it for a while now and it's a really nice jacket. Super warm and quite stylish. Fits a little tight in the sleeves though.

i found all pf them except Bus Bus and also got a ramones album and the James Horner OST
I can't quite remember where Bus Bus was in the movie, but I recall seeing it listed. Maybe deleted scene? Or they could have just used instrumentals.

I was never able to track "Bus Bus" down within the film either. I couldn't even find a version of the song that was't a live track...good thing I don't like it! HAH! Before he made the jump to feature films with (500) DAYS OF SUMMER, TASM director Marc Webb was a music video director so it very well could be the case where Amy Ray was a friend of his and he snuck her song in there somewhere.
On a related note, I made a Spotify playlist back in July with the songs from the film but since everyone's talking about the music, I'll repost it.
I added in my own bonus track called "Peter Parker's Alter Ego" by The Temper Trap (coincidentally the same band that had the main track "Sweet Disposition" in (500) DOS). Once you listen to it, you too will wonder why Webb didn't use it in the film...it's perfect for his take on Spider-Man. Major missed opportunity. I also added in The Ramones' "Spiderman" for obvious reasons.

Without a doubt, some in this thread have been diligently hunting eBay for that jacket, and you just jacked the price up on them by posting the link for everyone else who hasn't been paying attention.
