TFA Graflex Research (That's a Graflex, right? Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)

Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?

Another edit!: I was checking my clip over and over, and it seems like the red button is the old style button, with the grooves or what you call it on the very top.

glad I was not only person who saw it, I can't remember which scene exactly, but one second there were the old style button, next it was the one with the full grooves again, so I thought my eyes were deceiving me.............

Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?

I disagree. On my second viewing of the movie I made sure to look at the red button as much as possible and I only saw the regular newer style button, not the old style.

I think it may just be a trick of the light/shadow making the button look different.

How does Kanata end up with Lukes Saber? I haven't read any of the "Journey to the Force Awakens" books or comics.

Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?

Well, there's only 2 sabers seen in this film. 1 is obviously Kylo Ren's, so simply calling it... I'll post the rest in spoiler tags just in case

Calling it the TFA Skywalker saber seems to make sense to me. Just because Finn and Rey use it doesnt imply ownership to me. In the story its always referred to as Luke's saber. So, maybe Luke TFA. Sort of how we have Luke ESB, Luke ROTJ, and so forth

Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?

I think the 3rd suggestion does make the most sense :D

Definitely this. There should be no question really, knowing what we know if we've seen the film, and knowing what we've heard about where things are going and whom the central focus will be on moving forward. Plus the action figures point that direction as well.

Until Rey uses this for an entire movie, I will be calling it Luke TFA

I think we should settle on
LUKE/REY TFA
then. Of course time will tell.

Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?

I concur option 3. I believe that is who will end up using it in Episode VIII. As tempted as I am to offer other opinions, I will wait to remain potentially spoiler free.

While I am thinking about it, how do you do the spoiler hide thing.
