There was some never-before-seen off-takes and extensions of behind the scenes that even I've never seen before. Good stuff.

Did you notice in the wide shot of Ben and Luke helping a 1 armed 3po he didn't have his lightsaber on his belt ? (Photos have shown he did have it during filming of those scenes)

I want to know what Mark was holding before the break. It looked black. The neck didn't.

i had little family issue i had to attend to, i only watched the first 17 minutes or so, when they went to commercial break was hamill holding the v2? it looked like a different saber in his hand

And that's what I thought. Except it had that weird brown/brass/copper paint on the windvane. It wasn't the V2, and didn't look like the Shared Stunt either. It looked exactly like what we see on OT footage though, and had no nipple from what I saw.

im glad i wasn't hallucinating! i thought i saw it as well, and the chopper shiny brass color caught my eye right away! i didn't know if it was exactly the v2 but it sure looked like the ROTJ round emitter

That Graflex he was holding was an ESB with two red buttons. Looks like it had the narrow tape across the Graflex logo too.

Crazy idea here, and this might be a bit too thick, but could the clamp wrap have come from the Hasbro fx saber? It's already got the engraved lines and would be just a little too big for the original clamp, so it's easy to trim to size. Not sure if the square cutouts match up though.

also, plenty of close up shot of Graflex, so keep an eye out people

so far, to my untrained eyes, I haven't really picked up any details that has not been discussed in this thread yet.

Here is my completed TFA saber! Thanks for the parts Roy! I realize some details aren't correct, but this is as good as I can do for now.

Circuit board and red button isn't right:


Folmer! The rivets likely won't be on the screen used prop. I'll replace those when the correct hardware is available. For the grips, I just cut and glued the heads on.


The metal tape is too shiny. I made the clamp lines with my fingernail. To get the grips placed right longitudinally, I stuck them down with the bottom tube fully sunk into the clamp. When pulled back out there is a nice even gap.
