TFA desert Landspeeder

Im looking into building the New desert landspeeder. I picked up the toy and Im pretty excited about bringing it to life, my biggest concern is if its actually something that they use in the film or if its just something Hasbro came up with as a toy and its not actually used in the movie. Im sure theres probably no way to confirm its existence unless they release another trailer that it happens to be in or of course wait for the movie. It would be nice to park it next to my X34. Has anyone heard anything credible about this thing?

Can't speak for this vehicle, as I only know as much as you do. I do know that the "snowspeeder" they have has like 4-5 different toys depicting the same thing which leads me to think that one at least is in the film given the number of products they have of it. That being said, if this is in the film, perhaps we'll see some more products?

It does look like it should be in the film, but you're right, its not seen in any of the trailers. Kenner used to release a whole bunch of stuff that wasn't canon. Did Hasbro do that as well? I don't recall.

I don't think the Jakku speeder is in the film. The box for the snowspeeder says "The Force Awakens" on it and the Jakku speeder does not.

I found a little information and some blueprints for the speeder on makingstarwars.net. Hope it helps!

great info, sounds like it probably won't be used in some ultra amazing sceene I may have to hold off for the film to see if there is another more notable version that is used. I was hoping to start working on it in the next few weeks but now I'm not sure.
