Thanks bro. I'm not even done toning the skin yet either.
T3 Arnies hair is a bit tricky but I think this wig will be perfect for T2 arnie (I plan on "reverse enginering" a T3 bust for one).
Here's a quick pic of Arnie now. I'm off to my mom's hair salon to get him a trim.

I've actually had the same idea. I was going to super glue some hairs not only around the hair line but also on the eyebrows.
Tedious, but it'll look more natural. There's only so much you can do with resin I guess.

I dont know - arnold has a pretty distinct hairline... I think glueing hairs on would be a difficult way to achieve what you're going for... maybe just get a paint that matches the hair color and paint on some very thin, short hairs to blend it a little? I mean, it almost looks perfect without anything - I think a very minimal step is needed to make it look right. However, if you feel confident, it cant hurt to try. I've glued real hair onto a resin bust before... and, well, I wanted to shoot myself by the end, LOL.

I'm not an expert, but I've been doing the same thing myself glueing hairs on a resin bust I just finished painting. It's turning out pretty nicely.
Just use normal Elmer's glue thinned down with some warm water. Using tweezers, dip 3/4 in and adhere to your bust.
Just make sure that you follow the pattern of the eyebrows, hairline etc. for proper placement. Place the bottom hairs first and take your time.
Loving the progress and your paint work looks amazing!

Yep, I'm doing the same right now. I just did a majority of Arnie's left eyebrow using this technique (I used superglue instead though). I like the results but a what a pain it is.
The hair, on the other hand, was pretty disappointing. I'm thinking it's the hair line and the fact that it's hard to do a hair fade look like he had in T3. It looks more like a T2 arnie but oh well. I honestly think this is the best I can do personally with the wig:
I was going to do a T2 arnie after this bust but after scoring some accurate gargoyles, a T1 is a must for me. I'm going for this look:

I would love to do the Terminator 1 Howard bust with a wig.
It would take a little bit of work to grind the molded hair off and then sculpt the top of the head to make him bald so that a wig could be added. :lol

I've got the eyebrows done (such a pain to do), but I'm still waiting for the glass eyes to be shipped to me. Taking forever.
As soon as I get those done and fitted, I'll have some pics of it up. I plan on selling this if anyone's interested.
Still waiting for my extra busts to come in from Acid burn. I can't wait to start on T1 1984 Arnie!
