Well wishes for your recovery mate. No permanent damage I hope?
As for the parts list ... here's a few things I know of.
Door panels - can only be bought new from
Cars Inc. Easiest is to call or email them, let them know what car model you have (sports sedan/ 4 door pillarless hardtop), and they'll tell you what to order and run you through the process.
Here's the rundown. The only 4 door panels they list for sale are for the Impala wagon. The only way they differ from our door panels is the top
(we have no window rails/posts), so they are slightly longer, and the hole for the door lock knob is in a different spot. You need to do one of 2 things: either order the wagon panels unfinished
(they come attached to the back board, but you need to install your own top metal rail), or send them your top rail, and they will install and send you complete, ready-to-install panels
(which costs an additional $200).
The top metal rail - this is the curved metal piece at the top of the panels that sits over the top of the door - this is unique to the 4 door hardtop (because it has no window post) and, as always, is not reproduced. You need to supply your own. A rail from a regular sedan or wagon will not work on a pillarless hardtop.
They are currently available in 4 colours:
-
Black
-
Turquoise
-
Light Blue
-
Gold
- then you have to paint them light buckskin yourself. Because of this, the two best colours to choose from are Black, or Gold. Gold because it's the closest to light buckskin and will require less pain to cover; and black, because if you want to wait and paint them later because you have other things needing your attention, black will look more suitable in the interim.
If you order the unfinished panels to complete yourself, (as I did), this is what you get:
Due to me being in Australia, sending my rails to the US and having them install it costs more than me having them installed locally. Probably nominal in the US.
Arm rests - only the front arm rest and pad are reproduced. Readily available on eBay. The rear doors are different (both bases and pads) and not reproduced. You'll either have to restore your originals or find some used pieces.
Door lock knobs - available, but no idea what the show cars use. I went with original black pieces.
Everything else door related (interior trim wise) - window cranks etc are readily available and easily found on eBay, including window felts and weatherstrip.
Good luck. If you need help, just ask.
