Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

Just seen this thread. Wow you guys are rocking through these ID's. I'm getting all fired up to do an Awing now...which is not good as I'm still swamped with T47's!

Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

I cant believe I missed this, too busy taring at the kit parts to notice the bigger picture.

Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

The fin damage, was, according to Lorne, a snap over piece Guy, used for various shots with, or without damage.

Oh, and i think i see more Tamiya 88mm in the cockpit HUD, ill try post them up later buddy.

Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

Yeah there are some more 88 mm parts, i think there's also a bismarck part, cant confirm since im at work right now though.

Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

Julien, are you sure these are 1/700 Hornet parts?
I just picked one up but cant see them on the sprues, they look like tiny radar?

I'm going through the bismark but let me know if you turn anything over that fits?

Theyre Gepard D2 parts, another pain as there are only 2 in the kit, but so far I count 7 on the model :wacko

Re: ID help Studio Scale A wing.

Picked up some Airfix Meat wagons, they appear to be spot on but there are tiny rivets under each vent, sadly none of the ref pics I have are at the correct angle to show these rivets. If anyone has any decent rear view of the A wing they would like to share I would be over the moon.

There are 2 strips of 4 vents in each kit so only 2 kits are needed if it is the correct part.
