Getting close to doing the intercoolers but I'm building for customers a lot lately so I'll have to get back to weekends on this build. I had a back log of builds. Down to one NX-01 for now.

Thanks for asking,

Steve

Thanks Spockboy. Things are looking on track to getting back to her this weekend. Nautilus has it sea trials today which finishes that. I'm down to the one NX-01 build. So weekends are for the big girl. Molds next week. Bit by bit I'll be making the molds due to the cost of the silicone. But before I know it it will all be molded and then the real fun begins!

Since some people seem to avoid going back over the whole thread it's starting to look like a talk only thread. Until this weekend here's some pictures I just took of her current status. The reason theres no bussard collector for the left side or end caps you only need one master of both. Once molded I can make a right and left. And they will both match. ;)

More this weekend.

Steve

Hey Steve,
Looks awesome! One question, I think the bottoms of the nacelles are roughly even with the top of the saucer section. It looks a little low. Is that a camera angle thing?

Vince

Thanks guys. Still haven't got back to her but I did get a lathe today to make some of the small stuff and deflector dish. After this weekend I ought to be done with the NX-01 and have a clean slate again.

Hi,

I am really enjoying your build of the Enterprise, too. If this is offered as a kit, what material will all the detail parts be made of?

By the way, I own one of your excellent Type XVIIb hull kits--got it from a fellow Subcommittee member--and seeing the movie "Laserblast" is still one of my favorite childhood memories.

Barry.

Barry it will be but limited addition to a few collectors and or builders. And she will be epoxy glass and the smaller parts alumilite.

Hey build that old girl she sails nice.

Thanks again Barry,

Steve
