Okay Friends, Today seems like I needed to do the research spent half the morning on that. Once in the shop seem like I was stuck so I started cleaning up some of the clutter sweep up a big pile, also cleaned some work areas very cluttered. After all this was done I changed the red putty part out after finding the part I removed, I was able to cut that needed part. I then cut the ring for the cock pit and just placed it in, so I can do a bit of studying where to go from here looks like a cock pit about to happen. I also am going to have to do a redo of this one part near the back after I cut some of the tail off, I did spray a bit of silver on that spot just as a test. Thanks Guys for the likes and comments keeps me plugging away, So here is some of todays fun Enjoy

Okay Guys, Had a good day in the old shop, I started off with sanding the red putty just need some primer now see how its looking. Then the cock pit lots of tiny parts cutting, see a part fly off across the room just have to cut another its fun, as said Thanks for all the likes and comments makes me get moving. Also in some of the last pics whilest I was cleaning all my work areas are mobile yep can unlock the wheels and move things around. So how about a cock pit happening Here we go Enjoy

Okay Friends, Busy day in the shop boy seems like making a small part wouldn't be so time taking, but I have been on the controls all day well I did manage a small control area which will get lots more once I back out there Wow. So on the control handles I want them to move in and out also turn which I have all that accomplished just cutting a bunch of small parts yep. Thanks guys can't say enough for all the likes and comments here is some more cock pit happening Enjoy

Okay, I see what you are talking about The thing is I would have cut all the nice and straight, but the screen grab I am using all these switches are flipped in every direction some in some out some crooked so I went with what I was seeing and those gauges are cut from wood which I wish now I would have made them plastic but I went on with wood and they are with the screen shots I have I will paint in all the detail, I looked at one model and its cock pit was so straight it didn't look real it looked toyish but you are rite on about everything being nice I am only begin on this so yep I do see some straight ones but also there is some other stuff going on around all these switches that I can't figure out Thanks joberg love the comment I have slowed down on these parts because there is so much crammed in and I do need to grab me some new exacto blades whilest I grab me primer and another bottle of glue this will be 6 Thanks FriendLooking good and careful with the gages/controls greeblies. You can certainly get some caps to replace the wooden ones: the plastic package use to hold paper cups to bake muffins has a great lid, yogurt lid, etc...buttons can be cut better and squarer and straightened

Okay Guys, So here we go, Thanks for all the likes and comments need them. Today was such a distraction grandboys crazy Wow I did manage to do a bit, so I worked on the handles these are so in the making stage I didn't get any pics of that part..... so the pics I took oh before the pics I studyed on taking the wood out of the gages, they are in there but I did do one thing this is for you joberg well for all but I understand completely what your saying I take it into me mind and see how much better this build would be but I have to use what I have on hand and be for sure I don't go searching through all the boxes finding the one part I can use or redo This is what RPF is about and I always am thankful for all comments even for learning. I have learned a bunch form all. These handles have been a bunch of work and they will look cool as well I also compared my cock pit with the screen ship and its on it now I do know what joberg was saying bout the switches mine are all over the place and one would normally line all up nice but as said mine match the screen ship and do look flipped pushed in side ways crooked I really looked at this and looked at the pics I have and they are on I did think dang I really need to redo all that the grabs and I am with them. I also figured out what I wasn't understanding so I will work on some of this after the handles Here you go Enjoy

Okay Guys You know I really am learning and I have slowed down paying moe attention to how its going to look the handles are now done and installed. there is still a bunch to do on all this got to finish up the left hand side of the cock pit then move over to the right. I am studying the seat and bout to have head cushion and seat back and bottom cushion a bunch of work to even start on the right side. I also did some work on the cannons I still need to do another thing which I will share soon also grabbed me some primer and no exacto blades found no place but i picked up a cool knife set which I needed hope they have blade for this so a bunch of priming Here you go Enjoy
Okay guys got a bit done handles slide in and out and turn left and right I will display this movement once all is dry then I will snap a pic or two. So the next set of switches and buttons are in perfect lines now some on the right I will have to see if any of those are crooked and pushed in and flipped but I am sure they are all straight and in order. Man I am happy those handles are finished. There is still a bunch more to happen stay tuned a seat is bout to happen we shall see. Thanks Guys for all the comments and likes much needed Thanks

Okay Guys, Happy 4th to all, and thanks for the likes and comments, So today in the shop I got busy on some areas in the cock pit that are unseen. Also got busy on the seat, so I made a head rest and wasn't happy with it and made it a bit longer and it looks better but I didn't get pics of that. Next I will be finishing up the unseen areas also will be moving over to the right side of the cock pit. Now these buttons and switches are nice and straight and more along the way will be as well but some do look a bit pushed in only a small bit, from what I see. Also i had to just stop at one point me old eyes was trying to go out of focus so me old eyes was saying break time. whole bunch more making to happen here is a bit of todays fun Enjoy
I changed this head rest you can see the gap the next pics I share will have the new head rest. There's more

Once Again Happy 4th To All, Okay Guys, bout to go make something, before all the grandboys happen and 4th starts happening got a fire pit to light at dark but shop will be open. Yep last night I seen a bunch of wet pool feet prints all in the front part of the old shop. Sparklers being lit bunch more of that at dark, but for now heading to the old shop be on here later showing some more making happening Thanks Guys for All

Okay Guys, what a hot day. So Thanks to all for the likes and comments, keeps me making. Now totay was a bunch of studying and getting these two parts to sit rite so the canopy will have clearance, but I got busy making an bang got it. These parts wasn't easy to make let alone getting that clearance, should work I really hope. Also I got busy on the right side so this one part is just placed in, I still got lots more making on this part alone. A bunch of geometrical figuring still lots more left to get done on this. I haven't done any unseen areas today just a lot of figuring and making Here we go hang on and Enjoy
Oops I realized I didn't snap a shot of the new head rest Oh Well next day thing sorry guys I just got in a grove. So in the morning first thing in the shop I will snap that pic. Also lots more work on the right side, I will have to etch all the edges of the black part blend it all make it one piece. There is a bunch going on in that open area which is visible Clearance looks okay to me, I used a tram on it to see the fit of the canopy as if it was really there. As close as I need it and the canopy will fit well also slide up just fine. Wow yep it is as screen accurate as I can make it. Today was a good day with focusing the old eyes let me get some stuff done. With all that being said lots more to make Stay Tuned more Fun happening Thanks

I gotta commend you for the hand-crafted details. 3D modeling and printing parts does have its conveniences, but I can really appreciate the craftmanship that goes into a truly hand-made model such as yours.
