Not sure if this is for the movie or just a personal Project, but pretty damn cool either way.

Cool mask, but how's he supposed to breath in that. Mouth and nose are both covered up

All of the photos I've seen from the movie show the costume and mask to be a copy of the tv shows, except for what I presume is the gas gun. It looks like it was made from a miniature trombone!

In the serials the GH's wore a full-face mask with a hornet drawn on it.

I have heard about a GH movie since at least 1986, and being a GH fan I have anxiously awaited it. But given all I have read and seen about this abomination, I will avoid it like the plague! :angry

great mask. I still can't believe they are coming out with a movie re-make. Three words " straight to DVD"

It's actually being directed by Michel Gondry, who is a flat-out amazing filmmaker, so DTV is not what they're going for here.

I'd imagine the two ovular flaps along the bridge of the nose, and the last segment of the hornet's body open for breathing. I'd be willing to bet that the flaps would be made to "flutter" - or "vent" ala Wang's Guyver design.

I adore Wang as a sculptor and a filmmaker (if you're a fan of action cinema - you owe it to yourself to check out his Drive), and I'd love for this design to be for the film.

Unfortunately, Wang is not credited anywhere near the project. Perhaps it was just a test for the gig...

Very cool mask. I remember watching a few episodes of the tv show when I was a kid. Never really got into the Green Hornet until the Now Comics series though. I always hated that they discontinued that series.
