I didn't get into CW. I wasn't interested. I did like Rebels. The Mandalorian is very different.Which is why I hesitate to watch it because I didn't care for Clone Wars or Rebels.
It feels like a live action TCW. Which I don't have a problem with, I love TCW.
I don't know man, I get some definite Dave Filoni vibes from this show.I didn't get into CW. I wasn't interested. I did like Rebels. The Mandalorian is very different.
Yup, I “member” alright and it was done better too. I don’t need to see this excrement of a “reimagining”, so called sequel.Remember flying through the inside of the Death Star in the Falcon?!?!

To be fair the Millennium Falcon was flying through the inside of something in every movie it was ever in except for ANH...One of the things I noticed though is that I've watched most of the trailers and spots but every time someone brings something like this or Rey jumping on the Falcon I'm like "huh? I don't even remember that". My Alzheimer might be flaring up...Remember flying through the inside of the Death Star in the Falcon?!?!

JJ is good at that. He knows how to make genuinely exciting scenes and considering that I'm totally numb to visual effects unless it's truly stylish or artistic (like Under the Skin or BR2049 or even stuff like Martian) I think that's a sign of a decent director in this genre. I just hope the script is up to scratch. I'm happy to forgive a movie a certain amount of silly **** if it has a decent story and it manages to work on an emotional level as well. TFA bleeds from a lot of wounds but I still like it cuz overall it works to me. TLJ is bombarded for a lot of small silly **** that is undoubtedly there but had the rest work most people would overlook them. So I'm cautious about TROS cuz it just looks like it tries to do a lot of things considering that nigh nothing was set up in TLJ, it does have some cool imagery and Star Wars feel to it, but it will all depend on how the story will go for me. And tone.Again. haven't read a single spoiler... that looks BAD A$$ to me.
After his moment in ATOC, I wouldn't mind if 3PO got some serious upgrades. But I don't think that's the case. As he seems to have the red photoreceptors on Pasaana, but no weapons. This may have been discussed already, but the demands of life keep me from reading all 254 pages of this thread. If it has been discussed, sorry, if not, bear with me.......
I saw images again of C-3PO with his red eyes and him carrying Chewie's bowcaster and bandoleer. I also recently watched an interview of Alan Tudyk (K-2SO) and he briefly mentioned a moment when he met Anthony Daniels and before he could even introduce himself, he claims Anthony looked at him and said something along the lines of "Oh **** you", referring to the love that was being thrown his way after K-2SO did so much to help Jyn and Cassian in Rogue One, essentially whooping some a$$ and dying a hero.
So then I got to wondering, is red eyed 3PO being re-programmed to be a warrior, and that's also why he's carrying Chewie's bowcaster? Is this an attempt to bring K-2SO hero level to 3PO; to have him do something outside of talking Luke, Han, and Chewie off rotisserie spits? (Which, by the way, was more Luke's doing). It seems like C-3PO doesn't have a lot of stand out moments.
I don't know how I'll feel if I see 3PO laying down the scunion on a bunch of First Order stormie's a la Terminator style. I don't know why I made that connection, but I'm thinking there will be a moment where be goes from protocol droid to warrior droid. And I also can't help to think that based on Daniels' comments, he maybe said something and wants a K-2SO style send off? I don't think he'll be destroyed, but maybe have a bad a$$ moment?
Wondering if anyone else feels that way?
