Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Pre-release)

It'll be all over youtube in a couple hours. Youtubers don't give a s*** about spoiling movies in their titles
To be fair they are not spoiling it that much due to the extremely annoying clickbait nature of the titles like “THIS IS WHY REY HAS A RED SABER”, “The REAL reason behind THAT shocking scene in the trailer” etc...

Oh I wasn't talking about the clickbaits. There were explicit spoilers in the titles with Rogue One and TLJ when the movies were still in theaters. Like "THE DEATH OF LUKE EXPLAINED". And I was like ooooh ****.

Did anyone count the number of Star Destroyers here? There's well over 120 (not counting the blurry dark areas).

I'm going to guess that these ships are part of a vision as well.

And on a nitpicky note: What is with everything in space now being in some giant space cloud? Star Trek, Star Wars... Yes, that's everything. I'm not exaggerating at all. ;)

The lack of stars in Star Wars has been mentioned several times. I too would like to see more star fields. Sure it might be a nit pick but there is something to be said for the blackness of space being the stage in which we watch the battles. :D

Yeah those destroyers definitely have some weird gun thing on the bottom that normal ones do not.

I'm still wondering how the First Order has become so big after coming from nowhere and getting their ass kicked in TFA. With the size of the fleet the plot holes grow too.

Probably I will end up watching IX in the cinema, thinking (and knowing) that it can't be worse than TLJ (not even The Room is).

Is the star destroyer fleet based in space? Could be an invasion on a planet.

When Rey has the dual saber, she has a ring on her left hand that looks a lot like Snoke's. The TLJ visual dictionary said it was made of obsidian with ancient runes engraved in it, & some have speculated that it originated on Mustafar.

A theory making the rounds now, based on current Canon, is that Palpatine learned how to transfer his consciousness, possibly using the ring as a vessel of transference, & that's all Snoke's role was, a temporary vessel.

In the D23 footage, it looks to me like she's standing in the Dagobah cave, so I was thinking 'vision', but the transference theory makes a lot of sense to me.

God i hope not, that's a flat out blatant rip off of Harry Potter. In fact, in the end it turned out to be the basis of the whole damn thing.

I'm thinking the fleet isn't FO...it's Palp or Resistance

Easy. Palpatine stowed them away for later. No plot holes.
